I thought because of the name it was a bakery but it has lunch and dinner as well. We were air bnb’ing next door and had sandwiches there. The french dip sub was so good. The people are sweet. Its just a little diner like you would see alot of 40 years ago with customer service and good food.

I stopped here several times over the year. Every time has been outstanding service, and great ice cream. This visit was unplanned on a Friday late afternoon, and single dip ice cream treats for the whole family, could have been a meal with the portions. Expectations were exceeded, and plans have been made to return and try some of the tasty foods. A continual stream of locals picking up pizza while we were there, speaks volumes. If you were passing through town, take a few minutes, pop downtown and treat yourself to something tasty.

We were recommended this place by the lady that works at the twister museum in wakita. So we went to try it out for lunch and it was phenomenal The atmosphere was great The food was amazing I got the cordon Bleu sandwich and it was the best sandwich I had ever tasted. My husband got the French dip and it was absolutely amazing he loved it and I tried a bite of it and it was amazing.

I didn’t realize there were two sides to eat with different food varieties when I first ate there on Monday, but I asked about a burger on the sandwich side and they told me I had to go to other side, I’m glad they did because they had fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy corn, salad bar and a slice of chocolate cake, and sweet tea! That’s some of the best food I’ve had at a restaurant in a while! The ladies were very nice and courteous as well! Definitely eat here when you get the chance!

I really wanted to love this place. Only one issue, but it’s a big one. The bacon is terrible, whether or not it’s a salad or a sandwich. Either it’s very low quality, or it was cooked the day before and stored in an exposed container in the fridge, absorbing all the other flavors. Everything else was fresh and tasted good.

They were wonderful and the food was super yummy! We had an issue with my pizza and they fixed it right away and even gave us a box of cookies as an apology. Not necessary but super thoughtful and my daughter loved them!
