A diamond in what can be very rough. My waitress, Miranda, made sure of that. Had a rough week on the road. Parked my truck at the truck stop and walked in. Was greeted promptly and with enthusiasm. In an industry where people aren’t very excited to see me in my truck, she seemed legitimately excited to make sure my dining experience was swift and pleasant. I will remember this place next time I’m in the area.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Huddle House, and it was 100% thanks to the incredible staff. Our waitress, Joy, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made sure everything was perfect without ever making us feel rushed, and her positive attitude truly made our visit special.
The cook, Gracie, deserves just as much praise. The food was phenomenal—fresh, hot, and cooked exactly the way we asked. Every bite was spot-on, and you can tell real care went into preparing the meal.

Stopped in on our way home from Ohio. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Restaurant was clean. Food was served quickly. Only reason food doesn’t have five stars is because my burger was supposed to have a runny egg, but instead had a fried egg on it. It was still delicious though. Other than that the food was fabulous. We will absolutely return! A true diamond right off the interstate!

This was our first time in Mt. Morris and at a Huddle House. We were told to sit wherever we’d like and so we did. The waitress came and took our drink order pretty quickly and handed us our menus. Everything was great… until, she came back two minutes later asking what we’d like to order. We told her we needed a couple more minutes and she went back to the counter. Not even a minute later, she was back asking what we’d wanted. We told her once again we needed just another minute or so to decide. Literally, a minute later she was back. So, feeling rushed, we just ordered whatever. My burger was pretty good, and the fries were crispy, thankfully because I cannot stand a soggy fry. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and he said it was overly salty. His mashed potatoes were thick thick. Like, instant potatoes with not an adequate amount of liquid in them and then topped with a thick brown gravy. They were hard to mix to say the least. Lol The side salad was good though. We ordered the sampler as an appetizer- wings (bone-in), jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, and fries. The portion size was pretty small considering it was a sampler and for the price of it. They have 50% off pie and coffee between 3-5pm.. just for future reference. We were there much later than that, but if y’all get there between those times, have a slice for me.

Our waitress deana was such an amazing server we never had to walk up to her and say can u get me this or that, she came to us. When she seen our cups start to go down she was right there.The cooks were on piont with the food everything came out looking great. We didnt have to play a waiting game either. This was our first time eating at Hudde House. They have a variety of breakfast items to choose from. I especially liked their waffles. Everyone that works there is very nice and our server, Dee, was spot on. She was very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Will be returning in the future.

I came upon the Huddle House as I was returning home from West Virginia. I decided to grab a bite to eat once I crossed the border into PA, and the first exit I came to was Mt. Morris. And that’s when I saw the sign for the Huddle House and decided I’d try it. I Am So Glad I Did! I was warmly greeted by a waitress who told me to sit wherever I’d like, and then another waitress took my order efficiently and patiently. I highly recommend the biscuits and country gravy, though you can get it without if gravy is not to your liking. They are light, flaky, and delicious The eggs were cooked to perfection, also (I like mine scrambled well.) So if you come across this restaurant while traveling through Mt. Morris, you have to try it! The biscuits alone are worth the trip.

Server Sarina was excellent!!! The cook in the kitchen needs to learn how to read an order slip because my burger was not made right the first time so I had wait longer for the correct burger. My wife’s burger was not made right either as it was not supposed to have the huddle sauce on it but it did. She ate it anyways. The rest of the staff was very nice and friendly. The assistant manager was just standing around not helping the staff move orders if they needed help. The job of management is to help in assisting the employees not just complain to the staff they are not moving fast enough. I know what I am talking about I have worked in management and multi unit manager so I know how a business is to be run.
