We went for the dine out menu and it absolutely blew us away. Our food was incredible. I think about the piccata and vodka pasta every single day and cannot wait to eat it again. Our starters and desserts were fantastic as well as the service. We will absolutely be back as soon as we can. Thank you for an amazing dinner and experience, Pepino’s!

The food here was absolutely unreal — 100/10 across the board.

We ordered the chicken piccata, two pizzas, a Caesar salad, and vodka penne, and every dish was outstanding. The chicken piccata was perfectly cooked with a rich, lemony sauce, the vodka penne was creamy and full of flavour, and both pizzas were loaded, crispy, and seriously addictive. Even the Caesar salad was spot on — fresh, well dressed, and generously topped.

Service-wise, our server did miss a few items on our order and our drink orders, which caused a bit of a delay — but honestly, the food more than made up for it.

Classic Italian comfort food done right. We’d absolutely be back for the food alone.

Went this Feb for Dine out. While so many places offer a scaled down menu for Dine out Peppinos in traditional fashion offered the same portions they would on a normal day. Honestly one of, if not my favorite restaurant in Vancouver and some of the best pasta I’ve had anywhere, including all throughout Italy. Peppinos knows exactly what it is and has provided amazing service and food every single time I’ve been there. The entire group Savio Volpe, la Tanna, etc. is unmatched imo. Thanks again for another amazing meal, until next time.

Pepino’s is so SO good! The vibe of the restaurant is also cool – think old school, cozy Italian. The restaurant isn’t huge so it is very busy, making a reservation is a must.

The good was delicious, and the servers made adjustments for us to cater to our picky kids. She also proactively asked if we wanted to have the food come as it’s ready (rather than in courses) since we were dining with children. This is always much appreciated. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the Caeser Salad…i still think about this salad. The Tiramisu was also so yummy. What a great dining experience!

Can’t wait to be back!

We had a wonderful experience here. We got the Burrata and Focaccia, House Avocado Salad, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, and a Tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious. The salad surprised me. The mix of avocado, feta, and pistachio was heavenly. The pasta was so creamy and flavourful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the portion was glorious (perfect for sharing). I do wish the focaccia came hot, but it’s not a big deal.

The service was also great. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they gave her a card, and even a cannoli with a candle at the end of our meal. The waitress was very kind and was very on it with refilling water. Unfortunately, due to the very tight conditions, my elbow hit into two separate waitresses. I doubt I’m the only one, so I hope the waiters/waitresses don’t get bruised up.

We plan to return sometime.

Sister restaurant to the Savio Volpe group comes their reimagining of a classic spaghetti house. They sell some of the classic Italian red sauces and fresh pastas.

The space is a little tight, but the service is fast and solid. They check on you often and make sure your water is always full.

The gnocchi is on the saltier side and felt a little overcooked, which is hard to fathom given the pedigree of the restaurant. The rigatoni alla bolognese was delicious and the star of the pastas.

Overall, it’s a good pasta spot and reservations are recommended.

Went for the dineout season. Absolutely amazing food, appetizers and the tiramisu.

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good, old style Italian flavors.

No complaints: food was amazing, portion sizes were amazing. The place definitely lives up to its hype.

This is an incredible spot! The food is delicious and the service was impeccable. My only “complaint”, and this isn’t something you hear too often these days, is the portions were so big! I wanted to try more things but one dish will feed two starving people! I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Environment: old fashion decoration, a little too dark for photo, but comfortable for family dinner without feeling pressured like fine dinning. Washroom is clean, but small and outdated with small damage here and there. 7/10

Server: Fast and efficient, water is always top up and quality check on food several times. No excessive service that interrupted conversation. Well done. 9/10

Food: Different dishes give different unique flavor, the sauce is well balanced between tomato flavor and acidity. Other tomato based dishes also has its own characteristics with the use of different spices. The price is on a higher end. Not sure if the pasta is made in house, but for its price, it should. 7.5/10 *Dessert are not bad, but not a “Must try”.*

Pepino’s Spaghetti House is an absolute Vancouver classic and truly lives up to its reputation. The food is comforting, hearty, and consistently excellent, perfect old-school Italian done right. The pasta is rich and flavorful, portions are generous, and everything tastes like it’s been made with care and tradition.

The atmosphere is warm and nostalgic, with a lively energy that makes you feel like you’re part of something special the moment you walk in. On top of that, the service is friendly, attentive, and efficient, even when the place is busy.

Whether you’re a local or visiting Vancouver for the first time, Pepino’s Spaghetti House is a must-visit. A true institution and well deserving of five stars. I’ll absolutely be back.
