The open salsa bar is what you expect for AZ. The “mild” salsa is slightly sweet, the “medium” is smoky and well rounded in terms of heat earning it a true medium grade, and the “hot” is fresh and is decently hot. 10/10 for variety. The guacamole salsa is mild and what you would expect. There are also cucumbers, limes/lemons to grab.

Tostada (shredded beaf): 10/10. The tostada is crunchy. The meat is savory. It’s what you want.

Asada Fries: 8/10. The refried beans make it excellent with a good twist.

The MonsterDog: 10/10. Definitely my favorite. Very well done.

Toritos: 3/10. Definitely finished my 3 just so I wouldn’t waste them.

Zombie burrito: 8/10 good and the salsas are excellent. I wish it was bigger for $12.99.

Cabeza tacos: 5.5/10. They are my favorite taco and were “meh”. Needed the salsa bar to spruce them up.

Horchata: as expected.

Coke: 10/10 for not serving Pepsi. And I got a free refill at the counter.

Would eat here again. A little pricy. There are tv’s all around with music. It’s not too loud.

I ordered a burrito, which was huge! Order at the counter, your number is called when the order is ready. You have to go back to the counter and ask for drink refills. The food was okay, that’s about it. Plenty of seating, food is prepared quickly, restaurant is clean, bathroom was in need of attention. Unlikely to return.

**Update** Their manager Brandon was very kind and respectfully apologized for their mistake, I was refunded and given the burrito the way I had ordered it.

I ordered online and had asked for NO refried beans and NO rice… and they still added them. Paid $1 more for a mixed meat and didnt really have alot of Alpastor.

Taco Monster has become one of our go to spots in Yuma. The food is always delicious and you can tell the care that goes into it. The chips taste homemade and I’m pretty sure the tostadas are too. Their salsas and guacamole come sealed in individual bags which is such a small thing, but honestly so nice.

Customer service has been great every time. We’ve had our food stolen by third party delivery drivers a couple of times and Taco Monster fixed the issue each time even though I’m sure that loss hits them more than anyone. They didn’t hesitate to make it right.

I’m a vegetarian so I really appreciate that they have a dedicated section for meatless options. It makes ordering easy and I love when a restaurant takes the time to do that. My husband has tried half the menu by now and he’s a big fan of everything he’s had.

If you’re in Yuma, give Taco Monster a try at least once. It’s absolutely worth it.

The food was extremely well made! The carne asada nachos were made from what seemed to be a homemade style like chip that was perfectly salted. The three rolled tacos that were stuffed with beef had a delicious crunch! My wife’s taco bowl was very flavorful as well and all at a reasonable price! However, two things that made this fabulous establishment a 4 star restaurant. Delicious food needs to be served on wonderful platters. Presentation is everything! Luckily the food definitely delivered as others before me stated in previous post! Second, the nachos in my opinion were missing one thing, the Mexican Cremá. Luckily for me, I’ve dappled in the culinary arts area for quite some time and added the left over toppings from my rolled taco order and WOW what a difference it made to the nachos! All in all, I highly recommend stopping by when in the Yuma, AZ area and rate this place an A. Enjoy the photos!

This place is disgused as gimmicky. It’s fantastic!! We were here on a whim looking for al pastor, and it did not disappoint. They also have fry bread! They flautas were so fresh, like they made them that minute! Give it a try!

Stopped by while in the area for work, mainly because of the high Google ratings. Big mistake. We ordered nine tacos total: quesabirria, al pastor, and carne asada.

Despite the restaurant being only about 25% full, it took over 30 minutes to get our food. When we asked why, we were told quesabirria “takes a long time.” That excuse doesn’t hold up. No taco shop should take 30 minutes or more to make tacos, period especially with light traffic.

We had already paid, so leaving wasn’t an option.

The tacos themselves were average at best. Nothing memorable, nothing that justified the wait. Bottom line: the food was not worth the time, and the experience didn’t come close to matching the hype.

I love this place! They have Indian fried bread here! No this place really rocks food. It’s all fresh and it’s almost like a fast food experience, but the food is quality. I go out of my way to go to taco monster. It’s one of my favorite places in town.
