I walked into the restaurant and immediately felt welcome. The decor is unique and fun, and makes the atmosphere feel cozy and warm. The service was simple and amazing, with kind and amazing service willing to work with any request. The food was fantastic, quite literally the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I had the pulled beef brisket sandwich with a side of cornbread, and it was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned, with the cornbread being perfectly soft. If you’re looking a good BBQ experience from a local place, Bird’s is THE place to go.

I was hopeful stopping in for lunch. Walking in love the rustic outdoor patio seating and then inside, the wide open space. Thats about where the positive ended. Ordered the Combo with brisket and pulled pork. Both were extremely bland with no flavor. Baked beans were the same and Mac and cheese dont waste your time. Heard the table near me return a side too. The pumpkin pie wasn’t good either, most likely generic store bought. This place sadly will not “wow” a BBQ lover. Really wanted it to be good too. They do have a drive thru.

First time, and maybe only time ever, coming here. I’m from outside of town just passing through. BBQ is never a bad choice, and it wasn’t this time either! The food was good, had pulled pork sandwich and baked beans.

The Mac & cheese was creamy!
The corn bread is soft. It would be better with soft butter.
The meat is bland. And tough to chew. Very dry.
I paid $29 and some change. I left all the pulled pork and some of the brisket.
I had the 4 bone two pulled meat with Mac & cheese.
The ribs were medium tasty. And a fair amount of fat on the ribs.
Everyone in the bbq business, knows that you cut brisket across the grain otherwise it’s tough to chew. Then it falls apart.
I had been here 8 years ago when I was trucking.
I remember now why I never came back.
I told the nice gal waiting tables that I was embarrassed.

Nice place. The staff was great. Prices and portions are reasonable. I tried the ribs. They were cooked perfectly. Excellent. Their sauces were ok. Next trip, I’ll ask for the ribs unsauced and add some at the table. The ribs can stand alone. Their standard house sauce is really heavy on the brown sugar. I was not a fan. I opted for their spicier sauce version and liked that much better. The sides were ok. Standard sweet style potato salad and cole slaw. Nothing special. Their baked beans were the best side, in my opinion. The macaroni and cheese was ok. They do have pretty good cornbread, so give that a try. The restrooms were clean. Overall, we were happy. Thanks for a good experience.

Great local BBQ place. Food is delicious and the price is right. Service is exceptional and friendly. Sitting next to the fireplace on a chilly day is cozy. You feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in.

I have complained about not having a good bbq place in Muncie for 3 years and had I realized that the best place to eat bbq in this area was right in daleville I wouldn’t have been able to complain because my mouth would’ve constantly been full, outstanding brisket, cornbread, and Mac and cheese, the sauce at the table is outstanding, and the service is absolutely amazing and the place is super clean, will be coming back regularly from now on

May be my last time here. Have always thought they served the best beef Manhattan I have ever had! Today i find out they no longer have beef of any kind on their menu. As second choice I ordered a pork Manhattan. Not impressed at all with anything about it. Most noticeable was the portion size was about half the size that the beef Manhattan always was and the price was higher. I no longer recommend this place.

Great service and atmosphere! Also has affordable pricing. Pretty standard BBQ offerings and sides, nothing stood out as kind blowing but nothing was bad either. The only meat that isn’t shredded is the ribs, which were my favorite along with brisket.
