I’m leaving a 3-star because I don’t want to base my review off of just one bad experience, however, I just paid $45 for a meal to be delivered to me and my wife as we recover from having a newborn in the hospital, and the quality is unacceptable. The value we received was certainly not worth what we paid.
We ordered via Uber Eats. I feel as though all of these issues are related to preparation by the restaurant- so I’m proceeding with my review as such.
Pros –
– Burgers were fresh, cooked perfectly, and matched all of our specific requests.
– Fountain drink was actually very good.
Cons –
– No straw provided with fountain drink.
– No dipping sauces provided with doughnuts.
– Doughnuts had a very scarce sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, and were over cooked. So we essentially received dry, flaky, plain fried dough with nothing to dip it in.
– Fries were not seasoned at all.
– When we received our bag, there were three completely busted containers of campfire mayo covering the entire bag. Not a single surface was free from sauce when we received the order. You could say this is driver negligence, BUT, as a restaurant, you could take measures to make sure that these spills don’t happen, and if they do happen, make them contained to a small bag?
– Combine the above two points, and you get a lovely bland fry with nothing to dip it in. Oh and you have to break into your cabinets for plates and napkins because the trays in the bag are covered in sauce.
– No tamper evident packaging for delivery service. In 99% of delivery service applications, you see tamper evident packaging on all food bags and drinks. Not tonight! So while we trust our driver, there’s no peace of mind around that.
I’m not asking for the restaurant to bring me a golden platter full of burgers and hot seasoned fries, but I would like some sort of reimbursement to account for the net difference in value received vs. dollars paid. Doesn’t even have to be a refund, we would be happy with store credit. Please just do something to make up for this. Thank you!
Anywho, we saw people who had just put it in and get out earlier than us. We asked to see the manager, he never came to talk with us. We asked to speak to the manager and mentioned a refund. Soon after they brought the food out. The manager was running food to cars with people who’s food was cold. I imagine I would be waiting until 725 if I hadn’t gone in and used the actual curbside like it said.
The day team were on it… they did really good. Like hinted at we were in a hurry and they got to it. We stopped coming here often because of the service is too slow or people are downright not doing their job well (sometimes the servers, sometimes the host, sometimes managers and sometimes cooks)
So needless to say dont come here on a busy night— lunch is probably best and for weekdays not weekends. To go orders feel out of the question at this point but I haven’t tested that out more than once.
My brother said the burger was good so theres that ♀️
