I had the chicken and waffles. It was very delicious. The waffles very small. You get two good size chicken strips and very delicious syrup. My boyfriend had a root beer float, but she said it was delicious. We sat outside of a cute little umbrella table it is near downtown Lexington a few blocks from the water. It is a great location. The food is perfect.

Loved it! My dad owned an A&W when I grew up in the 50s and 60s, so we HAD to go when visiting the area. Friendly, good service, great rootbeer and fresh and juicy cheeseburgers!

I’m an old guy. I remember A&W from my dating days (married the girl 54 years ago). The A&W in Lexington comes as close to what I remember from back then as any A&W I’ve visited, aside from the covered drive up push button orders with the tray on your window. Friendly, attentive car hops who are “on it” as soon as you pull in. We drive 40 miles to eat there regularly. Keep up the good work!

The food is always amazing and i’ve been coming since i was a little kid, it’s always been amazing but this time i really can’t say so and i was disappointed with my service. as soon as i pull in they came over which was fine always amazing, mind you it was not busy. i noticed throughout the whole time they were very rushy and like they just wanted to get our car/order over with. Other cars whole pulled in after were for some reason receiving drinks and other foods before us. they handed us our order and fries were spilled out and gave us the wrong side. Chefs did amazing as always though.
