I saw this place on Instagram. I had to try it. I really wanted the drinks but settled for coffee because it was 9am. The cuban coffee was strong and amazing. I had the tostada and the breakfast empanadas. Everything was so good. We got the drinks to go in a pouch. I tried the pina colada and a daiquiri. Bith were out of this world. The dulce de leche brownie had me licking my fingers. We will hopefully return before we leave DC. The service was very accommodating and professional. Love it!. The rooftop was beautiful.

I love the colada shop! I’ve ordered from here by delivery, takeout, and dine-in. They have a cortadito which is hard to find. Their breakfast empanada is DELICIOUS, and I like their sofritas wrap as well. Any time I’m even remotely in the area I’ll stop by for a little treat.
The vibes here are good, there’s lots of seating, good music, free water, and the people who work here have always been pleasant.

I don’t think I can recommend this place. I sat at a rooftop table #41 and ordered from the QR code. Then waited and waited. After 25 minutes I walked down to see what was happening with my order. I found my sandwich sitting on a counter, I walked it back to my table. And then went back for my beer. These places need to improve their service. I’ve never experienced this bad service in quite some time. The sandwich wasn’t too bad, after I asked them to heat it up for me.

Came here for a couple Cuban coffees. Got the Cafe Con Leche and the seasonal Carrot Cake Latte, which was delightful, and sat upstairs on the roof on a gorgeous morning. What a lovely spot, I’d come here again. There’s ample seating, both outside and in. Can’t wait to come back and try the food!

This is one of my new favorite cafés! The food and coffee were all excellent. I love their creative take on traditional Cuban dishes, including the plantain butter tostadas and guava oat cookie. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well and great vibes all around. I will definitely be back!

QR system at the table is a bit weird compared to other places — you have to close your tab before your order is submitted, so you’re asked to tip before you’ve spoken to a single staff member or gotten your food. My friend was unable to submit her order via QR and so walked downstairs to the bar to order. The waiter didn’t know the table numbers and so walked through the patio with our food before finding us seated inside, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was January so the food wasn’t very warm when it arrived. Coffee was served in disposable containers even though we were dining in. The table was mounted to the wall but was broken, so it was slanted at a concerning angle. Pricepoint was good, decor and vibes were enjoyable, and food/coffee were tasty. 2.5 stars

Such a great little place. The empanadas are delicious! The coco matcha was outstanding as well. I recommend the sofrito they sell in the bottle too, it had lots of flavor and was a great addition to the empanadas. Although the green dipping sauce they already give with the empanadas is great too. Definitely give this place a try, the atmosphere is pretty cool too.

I never leave reviews but my god is this place a rip off. The portion size to price is abysmal. I ordered the bbq chicken sandwich and the cheesecake on Uber Eats. There were 4 chunks of chicken at most. Chipotle has bigger protein portions.
The few bites of sandwich with meat were good and the cheesecake, although a little small for the price, was delicious.
