After a super bowl win a night out on the town was needed. So cool to find this place and walk in only because it smelt good outside. Inside was super comfy and had a nice kick back feel to it. Everyone was very nice and look to be having a great time drinking. The food was amazing. The wings were cooked to perfection and the seafood combo I got was dang good. I have never had fried oysters like that and wow. So dangerously good. Great atmosphere here.

Pacific Inn is a bar with exceptional fish and chips. I don’t drink often, but I frequent this place with my friends to get the fish and chips. The fish are slightly crispy and the batter isn’t too thick. When you add the lemon juice and vinegar it tastes even better. Also a big fan of dipping the fish into their tartar sauce. They have 2 or 3 piece fish.
It’s also worth noting that the fries that come with are great and the coleslaw tastes very fresh.

They have a nice vibe but it’s a little loud inside, so I usually go to their outside deck. They also have a pool table inside if you enjoy pool. When the weather gets colder they have heaters on and also cover the deck with clear, plastic tarp, so it’s enjoyable outside year round.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the fish & chips at this place, and it definitely did not disappoint

This spot is basically a bar – where the inside has the booths you’d associate with a classic bar, while the outside has more traditional tables
This makes the inside an interesting vibe when I came here for a weekday lunch, but I didn’t mind it

Their fish and chips comes with coleslaw and tartar sauce as well.
What’s interesting is that unlike the usual beer batter, the cod here is breaded with panko breading instead, and then deep-fried. This creates a very unique experience,
something unlike I’ve had with fish and chips before; and it’s pretty excellent
The breading shines in particular. It’s very consistent throughout – there’s no missing spots anywhere on the fish. While I wouldn’t say it’s *insanely* crispy, it does
create a good crunch throughout that’s snappy and responsive to the teeth. The color is also a dark-ish brown, but not too dark. It’s also not overly oily, which I like

The inside of the fish is also excellent. It’s incredibly moist – they managed to not overcook this, while getting it to a good fry-level. It’s very juicy and I enjoyed it a lot
Fries (or chips) wise, these are also great. They’re super soft on the inside, and salted extremely well. There’s also just so many of them.

The coleslaw is surprisingly not super mayo-based, which was a relief. It had much more of a tangy taste from the acidity of the lime

The part I liked the most here was the tartar sauce, though. It was so amazing – the absolute perfect viscosity, amazing texture, the perfect amount of acidity & fat mixed together.
Dipping the fish in this sauce created an entirely new experience than just having the fish on its own. It’s easily the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had, and it’s not close
I had to ask for two cups to get through the meal because I was dipping it in so much

The fish pieces are pretty large, and the portion of fries is also considerable. With tax & tip, this comes out to around $20, which is honestly not bad given the portion size.

Overall, I haven’t had better fish & chips anywhere else in the city yet. 9/10

Walked in for lunch, sat immediately, great staff. Ordered fish and chips, shrimp basket, tortilla chips with salsa. Everything was served quickly, huge portions, great spread! Served with a good slaw.

This place fits the definition of a dive bar. It’s been in business forever. It’s the kind of place that mid-afternoon on a weekday most of the bar stools are already filled. Services friendly and the drinks are strong. And reasonably priced for the Seattle area.

ok food, inattentive service, in a typical pub atmosphere. I had been to Pacific Inn a few years ago and loved it…this visit not so much. I had the two piece fish and chips. The fish was flavorless and overcooked. The slaw also could have done with some seasoning. The fries were good. Service could be improved…a lot!

Local dive that appears to have been there since the 50’s. Cool pub vibe in an updated area of downtown. Fish and chips were ok. Great place for beer and a game of pool!

We are long time customers, probably for 35 years and tonight we hit the wall. We walked in and there was an overpowering smell of some kind of chemically scented cleaning product that immediately stopped me in my tracks. I would rather have left but tried to give it a go because the food is good. The outside patio was worse and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. After a quick meal I ended up with a headache and in an irritated state. It’s a struggle that people equate a heavy chemical smell with clean.

Daniel had a list of must-try spots before heading back to the island, and fish and chips were at the top. We heard Pacific Inn Pub had some of the best in Seattle—and they delivered! Crispy, golden lightly breaded cod, perfectly seasoned fries, and a laid-back dive bar atmosphere that made the whole experience memorable. It’s exactly the kind of no-frills, great-flavor place you hope to find. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!
