The best chai that I have had in a while! I had it hot with soy milk and it was DELICIOUS! With just the right balance of cinnamon and sugar. The Lox Plate and Oh My it was SO good! Everything was fresh, the everything bagel perfectly toasted and the capers and cucumber were something that I haven’t had on it in other locations before and it added a nice brightness and crunch to the dish. My companions loved their waffles and pancakes and specialty drinks. The atmosphere was great with ample seating, great service, friendly staff and a cool location. Just be aware that the narrow street that it’s located on is actually a 2 way road and can be tricky to navigate by car when all the parking covers the one side. Cute area too with great artwork in the restaurant. Highly recommend!

What a cool place!! Loved the vibes of this place. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We got the gyro and the steak sandwich. It comes with fries and a salad. Definitely will return in the future and try out new items.

From out of town, had a breakfast sandwich with a coffee. The water is a nice touch. Music is chill, servers are pretty and nice. Food was good. Great chill brunch spot, they also have a bar

Parking has the potential to be challenging as this cute spot is in a walkable neighborhood. The staff was attentive, for was fresh and natural tasting, no extra stuff going on, full assortment of tea bags, water served in a glass bottle. Great spot for a business meeting .

Seems kinda of understaffed. Brunch wasn’t crowded at all when we got there at 8. Waitress was nice but seemed like her attention was split across 5 things. Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was fun

First time to Carroll Street Cafe and it was an awesome experience! The service was top notch. The food came out quickly, hot, flavorful and delicious. We loved all of the food especially the Honey Brie Croissant. It was crazy good! The espresso was also very good. I love the art inside including the amazing, huge chalkboard art. Super good vibes here too. Love it!

We enjoy Carroll Street cafe! I especially like that they have gluten-free buns for the sandwiches and gluten-free pasta. I have had the chicken cob sandwich and the salmon sandwich and both are good. They have three different flavors of mayo which I like -regular mayo, sun-dried, tomato, mayo, and a cilantro, lime mayo. Reasonable prices for a sandwich with fries and a side salad ($18). My friend liked that they have sugar free pumpkin spice latte in May, which was cool. Service can be a bit slow, but the food is pretty good.

Anna was unfortunately one of the worst servers my wife and I have ever had in Atlanta. We saw her maybe 3 times in over an hour and a half and she was very curt and unfriendly the entire time. We waited to pay for our check for over 40 minutes because she just didn’t come back for that long after we got our food. She’s a younger girl maybe 25-26 so maybe this is the first server job she’s had but we don’t feel encouraged to come back again unfortunately even though the food was pretty good over all. The drinks were ok, but the bartender seemed a little inexperienced. The atmosphere is cramped but nice

We went at dinner time but it didn’t seem crazy busy, our food still took an extremely long time to come out. I got the ropa vieja (it was their special that day) and it was just okay, and the portion size was pretty small. My partner got the gyro and was disappointed with the taste as well. Overall was a pretty lackluster meal that we waited ~45 minutes for. Definitely seems like the kind of place where you’re paying for the location, not the food quality. Drinks were fine and the food’s presentation was nice, but you can get much tastier food for a way better price elsewhere.

Carroll Street Cafe is a charming hidden gem nestled in the heart of Cabbagetown. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere that blends bohemian charm with a laid-back, artsy vibe. It truly feels like a special little escape from the bustle of the city.
The Belgian waffles were absolutely delicious — perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served with just the right balance of sweetness. You can really taste the care that goes into making them.
Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, radiating warmth the entire time. Her smile never faded, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for.
This spot has definitely earned a place on our go-to list for breakfast, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
