Owner Dimitris Valavanis has recreated his cozy and laid-back café, now establishing a delightful atmosphere at our new location in East Rutherford, NJ, just across the tracks. Went for Valentine’s Day and it was a pleasant and hassle free experience. We made a last minute reservation and were able to be accommodated. The food was good, the service was great by the waiters (Keon and another young lady) and managers who consistently checked in. Hookah and drinks were also good. We frequent this place a lot and it’s never let us down.

My husband and I visit here regularly for breakfast and lunch.
We had our first dinner date here on Valentines Day and everything was top notch. We were also pleasantly surprised to see the amazing makeover of the bar area. Very bright and beautiful. The giant TV outside is just amazing.

This place is one of the best Greek and Mediterranean restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything was amazing and I enjoyed every single bite of my food there. The service was excellent and on point, no wonder why I always hear a lot of good things about this place. Bravo!!

Really nice place with indoor and outdoor seating and a giant outdoor TV for the sports enthusiast. The food was good, I stayed with the traditional Greek dishes, the Saganaki was “fire” literally which added a nice twist to the appetizer! The server was well versed on the menu and very helpful. Great place to grab a meal and have a few beers with friends. This place looks like it can be a lot of fun during football games and other sporting events. I will return to try some more dishes. Keep up the great work.

My most recent visit was wonderful. I noticed they did updates to the restaurant from the last time I came. I ordered the octopus, mussels in spicy red sauce, and a chicken gyro. My favorite was the mussels with the red sauce. The sauce was my favorite part where the slight spice doesn’t hit your tongue till later on. I noticed they have happy hour and a live Dj during the weekends.
Love that they now have a large space for outdoor dining. Unfortunately their kitchen closed so I had to pick up the order. I absolutely love their Greek fries. I had the spicy shrimp was not met by my taste buds. Their grilled octopus was yummy but unfortunately the order only had one tentacle but was definitely worth it. It was charred to perfection.

This is my go to spot in the neighborhood. The coffee is always top notch, the muffins and fresh food are seriously the best, and they always have great music playing. The seating and view are awesome, and the staff is genuinely friendly every time.

Decent and worth a try! We went for a Friday night dinner and drinks. Mythos beers is basically a Heineken, but still good. The gyro itself was pretty good and filling. The menu was extensive, and the pizza looked good, although I didn’t actually try it. The spicy feta dip kind of tasted like Frank’s Red Hot, and personally, I wasn’t a fan, but they gave a lot of pita with it. Everything else was good, too. Parking is scarce and price wise it’s average, not too expensive. Overall, I give Eros Cafe a 3 out of 5.
