The best breakfast I’ve had all year. On par with the breakfast served at the Harvard club Manhattan. I’ve traveled to about 30 countries stayed in Nantucket and the Hamptons and this place still served a better breakfast at a much lower cost than those other. Placed. Nicole my server was great! I’ll be back especially if the place ever figured out how to offer grilled or baked calamari. I would say overall the place is a good bang for your buck. I think any good meal for less than 100 dollars per person is a great deal. Plus I love pumpkin flavored things and this is the only place that I’ve seen a pumpkin martini on the menu.

I have a dairy allergy and the chef; Denny, accommodated me for my order on calamari and there was a vegan sandwich on the menu.. Tuscan Grilled Vegetable Sandwich available for me to try.. it was delicious. My hunny had the duck wings and the Aviary burger which he loved and ate it all up! We special ordered a margarita and the bartender Oscar was able to make it easily. Amber our waitress was very nice and available when needed. Best of all Molly, the manager, came and introduced herself to us right away when she heard I had a food allergy and she was on top of all my orders for quality insurance to make sure there were no dairy allergies in my food.

We were there for about two hours, and unfortunately most of that time was spent waiting for our food. Everything took far longer than it should have, especially considering the quality when it finally arrived.
The food itself was disappointing. It was obvious some items came from a box/jar/freezer, and dessert was clearly microwaved — it came out so hot in the center that it actually burned my tongue. My husband’s steak was very fatty and over seasoned, and his fries were cold by the time they hit the table.
The only bright spot of the evening was our waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and did the best she could.
Overall, the kitchen really needs improvement. We were hoping for a much better experience and probably won’t be back.

The food was great. The service was OUTSTANDING! Lori, our waitress, made this one of the best dining experiences. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed with a smile. We loved it and will definitely visit the next time we’re in town.

Worst old fashioned I’ve ever had. Muddled fruit and pepsi ice. If you like frat party jungle juice, come on down. The only thing that constitutes this place as a “cocktail bar” is the speak easy lighting.

I have been several times in the past year and I have been happy with the all around service. It is a beautiful place to have a great meal. This weekend my daughter and I had Spencer as our server. He gets 5 stars from us! A pleasant disposition and he was attentive to us. I will definitely request him when I visit again. Thank you Spencer!!!

Absolutely loved this place. My server was so nice & accommodating. The food was outstanding! I ordered The Lox Plate, which was their special. For drinks, I ordered the French Mimosa & Strawberry Lemonade Spritzer. Both were light & refreshing. I skimmed the dessert menu, which had some amazing options, but I was too full & decided not to get one. The atmosphere is homey & cozy. Love the Christmas decorations ❤️ Would definitely recommend!

The flatbread is extremely dry and the service is slow. The waitress gave me wrong information about the menu and when my friend corrected her, she had an attitude. I was charged an unreasonable price for adding prosciutto and they put miserable strips as shown on the picture. I tried to complain but nothing. The atmosphere is cute but not worth it. Expensive and not good. The mojito is terrible, had to ask the bartender to add syrup but it didn’t help much.

I don’t know how you charge for bread and then bring it out frozen and burnt at the same time. Food was mediocre at best but, all that our server spoke about was how their chef was so great, put love into it and didn’t allow any substitutions on their new menu. Maybe chilis is a better spot for the “chef”. I love the rookery for lunch so, I’m not sure where the disconnect is for dinner at the aviary since they’re the same establishment. I really like both places I’m hoping that they figure it out.
