The best thing about our brunch was actually our waitress. She was very accommodating, friendly and checked up periodically on us to make sure we had everything. I’m plant based so this is not the place to come if you are vegetarian or vegan. But my friends loved their food and said it was tasty. Cute place inside with wooden booths.

My wife and I came to Jak’s Grill to celebrate our anniversary and had a great experience. The food was delicious. I had the top sirloin steak, cooked perfectly. The service (Jeremy) was excellent, and as a nice anniversary touch, they gave us complimentary desserts (cheesecake and a crumble), which we really appreciated.

I’m not sure what happened to the Jaks we all came to love and cherish, this was one of our go to places for a nice dinner, anniversary, birthdays and so on. You always were able to count on a nice steak dinner with all the bells and whistles, salad and bread to start, potato choice and veggies with the steak and all wrapped up with friendly service.
Service is still awesome, but the plates are sad. The menu has seen many changes over the past 10 years, but the newest cut, it’s a cut too much for us. No more salad and bread, they don’t even put veggies on the plate anymore… the plate at cheaper establishments look and taste better than our dinner today. I actually thought I accidentally got a kids menu plate, I’m not sure why anyone needs to pre-cut my food, plus it makes the steak dry out.
I’m saddened and hope that the owners will rethink their choices and get their menu back up to the expectations of a Jaks.

Had a wonderful meal here. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious! The key lime pie was just right with enough tart to make your mouth water. Nice atmosphere and a good vibe, just a wee bit noisy for my taste though. That doesn’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Our server, Patrick M was awesome. Professional, knowledgeable and spot on with service. A real asset to the restaurant.

Four of us had lunch at Jak’s the day before Christmas. It was busy but we had reservations and were seated immediately. Because of the crowd the general manager, Jessica, was our server. She deserves 10 stars for the outstanding service she provided while also being friendly and helpful under difficult circumstances.
The marinated pork chop was incredible as well as the generous portion of spinach salad we had. The onion soup was good but not as great as expected. Overall it was a cheery atmosphere and we all had a wonderful pre-holiday time. Definitely will go back again. Highly recommend.

We have dined at Jak’s a few times now and I really enjoy this little restaurant. I think it is one of the best in Issaquah. It has a great vibe. The staff is friendly, fun , and efficient. The food is high-quality, and the cookery is usually spot on.
Sometimes a real test of a good restaurant is how they handle things when problems arise.
I’ll just say somewhere along the way my expensive ribeye steak ended up being ruined. Once the problem was discovered a manager and server were quick to make corrections and settle the issue well to our satisfaction.
