Love this relaxing, intimate BYO Italian restaurant, especially after the symphony! Very fairly priced, casual-but-professional service, excellent appetizers, bread, and entrees. Not sure if I have ever had room for dessert. So many people recommend this place, its almost silly. Worth every rave.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time and finally did. I have to say I was not disappointed.
The menu is fantastic, the food is as authentic as it gets. So very delicious. The service is great, it gets really busy but they’re still friendly and attentive. Reservation ahead of time is highly recommended as it’s a small place and gets booked up pretty fast. They could accommodate large groups. We were 7 and they had no problem accommodating us.
It is however, very very loud. Almost difficult to hear each other. Not recommended for a first date or business dinners – might be tricky. But strongly recommended for friends night out and date nights. Can’t wait to be back for more!!

This place is the BEST. Authentic Italian food for a great price point, large portions, and delicious food.

This place feels less like going out to eat and more like having dinner in Italy at your family’s house. It’s small and cozy, and the owner, Giorgio, is always walking around checking in on tables, which makes it feel so personal and welcoming.

You can even bring your own wine, and they’ll uncork it for you—such a nice touch.

Must orders:
– The prosciutto (genuinely the best I’ve ever had)
– The burrata
– Sweet potato gnocchi
– The bolognese

Everything just tastes authentic and made with care. One of those spots you want to gatekeep but also tell everyone about. This place is very popular so I highly recommend making a reservation rather than walking up.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the world in my opinion. The owner: Giorgio is still very active and talks to customers. He a passionate fan of nfl and especially Philadelphia eagles. So the conversations will depend on whether the team won or lost the week before. We ordered the soup which was very tasty. The veal prosciutto was excellent. Also the spaghetti la vodka. We will be back.

We had such a great dinner at Giorgio On Pine! We ordered the rigatoni with the white wine garlic sauce and the Bolognese special, and both dishes were amazing. But seriously — if you come here, you have to get one of the pastas with the white wine sauce. It’s incredible and packed with flavor.

Our server Susan was so sweet and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. Overall, such a cozy spot with delicious food. Highly recommend! ✨

Am a new neighbor to this place.

It was interesting. I like all the garlic in the olive oil but it’s usually done to mask the oil quality. Bread is good. Large servings of pasta served piping hot.

Love that it’s BYOB

Excellent sound deadening steps have been taken.

We were asked to move one table over so that they could seat a table of 5. So we moved – then they decided to put the 5 elsewhere. And the server got confused and thought we may have skipped out. LOL

Owner stopped by some tables but not all. Fine, whatever.

Loved the prices.

The food here is amazing and flavorful! I got the chicken which came with spinach and potatoes cooked to perfection. It went well with the cheese ravioli which is simple on its own. The best part for me was the garlic oil they bring out with the complimentary bread. On this occasion, the service was very slow. The tables and chairs are tightly packed together. This place is BYOB. I would highly recommend this place for good Italian food and am looking forward to coming back.

Rigatoni white wine is heavenly, just wish the portion was bigger. Tiramisu was a little on the sweet side and didn’t have enough coffee or rum. Service was good but kinda slow because there are 2 staff and only 1 of them can take your order. Staff are friendly.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and the staff has always been incredible. Giorgio truly feels like family. This is hands down the best Italian food in Philadelphia.

South philly italian dishes 10/10 but be aware this place is very loud. As a BYOB, lots of people there to celebrate in a somewhat small place so it gets quite noisy (and hot in the summer), but the food is absolutely worth it and the service is on point. My favorite dish was the sweet potato gnocchi and the prosciutto platter is to die for. Ended the night with a cappuccino that almost transported me back to Rome 🙂
