I was recommended this location by a coworker, we decided to make reservations for December 24th. It was a really rainy and cool day.
I love Oak Glen in general and have passed this restaurant a handful of times when going to the Apple Orchards in this area.
We were seated promptly and the initial greeting was fast and welcoming.
We ordered the Calimari for an appetizer when was amazing! My better half ordered the Beef Stroganoff and I ordered the Bone in 16oz Ribeye ($85.00). I ordered it medium well, it was PERFECTLY cooked!
The environment is clean and similar to a Saloon to some degree. The overall experience was good and the food and service was great.
Wow the desert is amazing! The drinks were amazing!
We will be back.

As for the food it was a disappointment, $180 pricey mistake I won’t make again when visiting Oak Glen.
Ordered:
2 x Flat Iron Steak (5/10, had a seafood like after taste that steak should never have. Almost like it’s stored in the freezer next to the seafood and quickly defrosted in the mornings.)
1 x Pork Chop (8/10, best thing on the menu. Apple chutney creates a nice balance that I was surprised by.)
2 x Baked Potatoes (6/10, they are lukewarm so probably just sitting in a steamer on super low heat.)
1 x Mac n cheese (5/10, very runny and watery)
1 x Brussels Spouts (7/10, average)
1 x Artichoke Bread (7.5/10, sourdough was a nice touch)
Highly recommended you go elsewhere!

It is a great place to come and eat. We did not have a reservation so we waited for 10 minutes. They told us to go look at the Halloween decoration they had in the garden. The garden is so beautiful with a pond and fish. After, we went to check in and our table was ready. We had a kind waiter who attended us. My hubby got the New York steak with Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese. I got the honey salmon. By far the best I have tried! My little girls ordered the chicken tenders with fries. So there was a miscommunication and they didn’t give my husband the New York steak he ordered so they took it out the check. They had gave him a regular steak which he said it was still delicious. The Don margarita was delicious. They had live music. It was a great atmosphere. Loved the vibe here. Will be coming back!

1st time there and we loved it. The staff was great and attentive and the views were awesome . You can sit in side or out and you will love the views. The food and drinks are really good. If you are in the area make sure you stop at Oak Glen Steak House you won’t regret it. The price is not bad at all.

This one is tough. They have a great story, rebuilt after a landslide devastated the restaurant. Been here once before the rebuild and once after. Before was awesome. Delicious food, efficient service and cool atmosphere.
Our second visit after the rebuild wasn’t the same. Ordered the BBQ combo – choose 3 out of the 4 meat options – and enjoyed it. The sauce had a kick to it which was nice but meat was smothered in it, will ask for it on the side next time. And drinks were delicious too. However, there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant and It. Was. Full. So packed so the wait time was a bit much – over an hour to get drinks and appetizers. Food order was messed up too. My sister in law ordered the prime rib medium rare and had to send back it back twice – overcooked. Saw another party do the same.
Overall I was bummed by the experience but I think I’d still give it another shot.

So… I hope this was an off day. My son and I came here to get some lunch, it wasn’t extremely busy. Maybe 2/3 full. We ordered our food and then it literally took 45 minutes to get to our table, waiter was nice and good and even helped with my order but seemed to be helping too many tables/over worked. My main issue was they allowed an animal up on the chair. Were people and kids sit… That’s disgusting. And also against the health code. Whether it’s a service, animal or not service animals need to sit on the floor along with pets outside… I was happy I guess to see the pet outside but they were also allowing the dog to be fed and drink from the table… Food was pretty good, although I would have liked it more if I wasn’t extremely hungry and about ready to walk out after 35-40 mins.

Great place to eat. Food is great and the vibe is awesome. Prices not too bad. Anywhere from $14 and up, depending on what you get. Sandwiches, Chicken, and Steaks are great! Kids menus range from $10-14. Mixed drinks are NOT watered down, we’ll worth the cost.

We went on Valentine’s Day with no reservations. The sweet gal still got us seated. Service was outstanding and food followed, delicious, good portions. The drinks were also good. Went to the nearby shops. A little history there.
