The workers were just standing around doing absolutely nothing. One lady was sitting down instead of helping customers. No one would take our orders till I asked one of them. None of the workers acted like they wanted to help do anything.. There were several people waiting on there orders and nothing was happening. Very lazy workers!!! I witnessed several people came in to order and no one helped them. So they left. I dont blame them.

Ordered sweet tea, Had to drink unsweet tea because that’s what they gave me!
In my opinion, they need to close it down while they’re ahead.

This is the lamest Popeyes I’ve ever been to. The standard signature chicken is never ready and you better be willing to wait at least 30 minutes for your order. I go in from time to time thinking they have to be better by now but they NEVER are. It’s always the same atmosphere if you go inside. Angry Customers waiting for their orders.

On September 30 at 5:45 pm, we placed an order by phone for pickup. 2 family sized chicken strip meals; one a 16 piece and one was a smaller size. Our total was over $90.
My husband picked it up and headed home.
Over HALF of the chicken was so dried and burnt that it was inedible. We are not complainers at all but spending $90 isnt easy and when it’s not edible, yeah. I’m going to complain.
I called Popeyes at 6:59 pm on that same night. I respectfully explained that our chicken was mostly burnt and hard as a rock. The lady I spoke to sounded half awake but said they would replace the 16 piece tenders, not the sides. Perfect. The sides were delicious, worth the money. She took my husband name and said to come get a replacement at our convenience since we live outside of Shawnee.
So today was the day.
The General Manager basically called me a liar. She said “Im the one who takes those calls”. She was SO very rude. The girl on the phone told me I didn’t need to bring a receipt but the GM very rudely said that without it they weren’t replacing even though our name was taken the day we ordered.
I, myself, am a local business owner and the blatant disrespect at this business from a GM for customers is wild.
If you want your food to be edible, check it before you leave.

Spent 50+$ for 4 people and drove 20mins to get it just to get home and my chicken tenders weren’t with my shrimp. The “shrimp” had no shrimp, really just bits of batter. Tried to call but the phone is off the hook so can’t even speak to someone to fix it without driving another 40min.
While waiting for our food it took at least 5 min for someone to help us (tho they did acknowledge us at least) everyone was very slow moving with no urgency and the manager was just sitting at her desk instead of helping the work flow. This location needs attention from the owner or corporate.

I have stopped by the drive through at this location twice in the last two months.
The chicken is nothing like what I expect from Popeyes. It is dry like it has been under the heat light all day, it is small, it is not light and crispy. I was very disappointed both times.

placed on line order (for convenience) and didn’t realize they make you come in to get your order. you can’t go thru drive thru line (like every other place i have been) and get order. Not convenient at all. Then was charged for 3 piece bone-in chicken and when got home had 2 tiny chicken strips and small cole slaw, no biscuit. will never go to this raggedy ole Shawnee OK popeyes! Terrible

We drove thru at noon on a Thursday. We waited in line for quite a while only to be told there were no chicken patties for sandwiches so we left. We stopped back by around five o’clock. We waited patiently at the drive thru but no one ever came to take our order so we drove up to the next window. The man at the window was very apologetic. He took our order. My chicken sandwich was very dry. Not very much mayonnaise. My daughter has been here before. Said she had to wait 20 minutes for her food.

Absolutely pathetic customer service. No greetings, no acknowledgement. Just standing waiting to order and staff looks at me with contempt for over 5 minutes. Completely out of fried chicken. Pathetic way to run a business. I was only customer in lobby when I walked out. Staff refused all eye contact or simply say we’ll be with you in a minute. 3rd occurrence of this attitude.
