Fantastic value. Food was both delicious and the portions were large. Staff was attentive and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere is nice and from where we sat it looked like a clean and well managed kitchen. Couldn’t even finish the meal, plus the beer options are legit. Randomly stopped over after the place we went to first was closed and it worked out great. If you’re in the area I am unaware of a better deal on a meal.

The service was great from the moment we arrived until we left. The food was outstanding and I really like the fact that they give you two types of salsa. One is mild. The other one’s hot just be aware. The mild truly has no taste and the hot one makes your eyes water. they have a really big menu. I would highly recommend it. We will be back.

Nice veggie burrito with black beans in a fried shell and rice. I would like you see a red or green sauce drizzle to really set it off. Maybe even a colored plate
Plenty of protein.
Margarita was dressed a little so I did like that.
And you could taste the alcohol easily.
Only 3 stars mainly for the lack of presentation and atmosphere. But the food and drink tasted great

Excellent food and service. I got the Fajita taco salad and Bill got the shrimp cocktail. It was beautiful! Plenty of shrimp too.

This is a review of the La Cabana Mexican restaurant in Rockingham North Carolina.
For a couple years now taking motorcycle trips from the western part of Carolina to the eastern Carolina’s This has always been one of our favorite stops as the food is always hot fresh large portion and consistent, places always clean and well kept and the wait staff is always beyond fantastic.
After dozens of trips here we have yet to have a bad experience with either service or food. Mind you it may be crowded at peak times like 12:30 on a Saturday for lunch however that’s to be expected and I do not blame the restaurant at all for this.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area fair prices good portions and always hot tasteful food. ❤️

This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since 2010! My whole family have been long loyal customers, to my surprise and horror I came Saturday I’ve never had any issue ever!!!! But when I came to eat some appetizers and pass a lil bit of time with my family before an event we were to go to tell me why the waiter was rude!! So overly rude!!!! I tried to say what my daughter wanted and he said let her speak ok ok fine but why we paid a full $100 for 5 drinks and some appetizers (no alcohol)I know the owner would never allow this treatment but he wasn’t there unfortunately but I’ll continue to go elsewhere I specifically feel he was overly rude to me because I am white and my family is not, I’ve never been so offended in my life I tried to check my bill cus why so expensive!? And the man stood beside me weird and creepy as ever!!!! Don’t you go to the front to pay so why the treatment?! Maybe because he over charged us because how you get a an expensive bill for some drinks and appetizers?!? DO BETTER!!!!!! IF U DONT LIKE YOUR JOB DO ANOTHER!!!! No wonder the place was so slow compared to before AWFUL!!!!!!

Ordered a fajita trio for take out got home and barely had any meat just a bunch of sides I called them and the girl that answered the phone stated that “no one wanted to talk to me about it” and would not let me speak with a manager they charged me 30 dollars for a $19.99 plate and side of queso… I used to love this place but I will never be back.. very rude very disrespectful

This place was highly recommended by family and friends. Unfortunately that was not our experience. The chips were stale. There is no salsa. The food was not great and undercooked. I really hope it was just an off night for them.

Such a welcome surprise on our way home from the beach. So close to the highway and such a nice variety of choices. Big bonus was their eagerness to customize our order. Very friendly wait staff were attentive, too. Check out my photo of the fish tacos.
