I don’t know what’s going on with these Popeyes locations in Texas! But they’re serving old refried chicken and it’s freaking sad and disgusting! This is not given to me for free I’m paying for this and to order around lunch time and get old spoiled tasting chicken is absurd! Stay away from this location. Service is always bad. Tonight I stopped in last minute and grabbed a 10 piece. Chicken was dark and tastes like it was in old grease. This place should be shut down.

Drove to Popeyes around 10p.m to grab a late night bite. We had issues ordering a 4 piece LARGE combo, a SPICY chicken sandwich and a jalapeño. Simple order. We get to the window, we were handed regular sized drinks. I asked the lady why I was given a regular instead of a large drink and she stated it wasn’t what I ordered, when I specifically mentioned large combo. She went back and forth with me demanding I pay the ¢80 for the large cup, which is what I asked for. In the end I didn’t get a large cup. As we got home we realized no jalapeño which I was charged for and a regular chicken sandwich instead of spicy. Very disappointed with the service I would not recommend.

Empty dining area at 4pm. Too many dirty table. Chicken looks darker and harder then usual. Hard to Chow and swallow.
Manager lady don’t speak English. Spanish only… couldn’t give the feedback.

Wow!!!! Stopped in here tonight and went through the drive through. I had to park out front and waited 45 min to get my order. I feel like there was only one guy taking orders and cooking. Ridiculous. Stay away from this location until the owner decides to spend money to pay people to work. One person working the whole restaurant. This shouldn’t be allowed. Oh then he gave my order to the car next to me and her order to me. Luckily we checked and were able to switch.

Extremely disappointed the way this Popeyes manager, Veronica, treated me at the drive thru, I could not understand what she was trying to communicate, she has a very very strong accent, when I asked her to repeat herself, she ignored me and never came back to the speaker box . I was forced to come in, she looked at me rolled her eyes and Kaleb assisted me, during this event there was another customer expressing a very unsatisfactory experience. This type of customer service certainly should not be tolerated. Usually I have had pleasant experiences but I was very very disappointed on today.

For the past 14 yrs, this was my favorite fried-chicken, go-to place to eat! But service has been gradually slipping for the last several years. Don’t order at the drive-thru; the orders are usually screwed up. (Never drive away without checking your order first). Today, for the first time, chicken tenders were tough! Great difficulty communicating in English. Sad to say, today was my most unenjoyable visit at Popeyes to date. I doubt I’ll return to this location.

I did an order for pick up. I walk in, no one bothered to ask if they could help me although I am standing at the counter patiently. After 10 minutes I finally said “excuse me” to check on the process of my order. A part of my order was 2 (two) of the BOGO deals on the sandwich. Which means I should have gotten (4) FOUR SANDWICHES. I’m asking about this. This woman argues me down I was only charged for one ALTHOUGH THE RECEIPT SHOWED &11.98 for 2 sandwiches which means I am owed 4 (Buy 1 get 1 @ $5.99). She still argued with me. I kept explaining PATIENTLY and she just tells me “u got your 2 that’s it!” I did the order through uber for pick up so I was able to get a refund on the extra amount but the service here was ridiculous. She was rude as hell and wasn’t even trying to resolve the issue. I go to this location because it is close to me but no more. This isn’t the first time. They’re lazy and rude at this location.

I had a problem with my mac & cheese, It was 50% shredded cheese hardly any noodles. The manager was very dismissive, said that’s how it came and there was nothing she could do. She reluctantly replaced it after multiple times of trying to dismiss my problem. Unfortunately her attitude was so ugly, that I didn’t feel safe feeding it to my toddler because I felt she may have spit in my food. I ended up taking the mac and cheese to another location so they could swap it out for peace of mind. I will not be returning to this location.
