I placed an order through the McDonald’s app for my father-in-law to pick up. The order was paid for in the app, approved, and my card was charged—otherwise the order would not have gone through. When my father-in-law arrived at the restaurant, the order was ready; however, the male manager insisted the order had not been paid for.
While my father-in-law was at the counter, I called the restaurant and was told that the payment did not go through. I found this hard to believe, as my card had already been charged and the app showed the order as approved. Still, to avoid any issues and giving the manager the benefit of the doubt, my father-in-law paid for the order again in store.
After the second payment, the manager laughed and stated that the original app payment was “pending,” that there was an error on my end, and that the money would be refunded to my account. He also stated, “I get nothing from lying to you.”
However, the original charge was never refunded. As a result, I was charged twice for the same order.
I am requesting a refund for the duplicate charge as soon as possible. I am happy to provide receipts, screenshots, or any additional information needed to resolve this matter.

I was just there. I ordered a lg #1 I saw on the screen it said medium I told the person I said lg , she said she’ll correct it. I get to the window the give me a medium fry I told them I ordered a lg and the person on the microphone said they would correct it they took the fried poured them in a lg container I gave them back to me. Now tell me is this a lg fry?? Horrible customer service!! I even told them I would pay . They gave me this. I will Never Eat McDonald’s again!! Expensive!! Bad service just don’t care!!!
When I called back a gentleman named Guillermo answered, explained to me my order. He was nice, helpful, and respectful.
