This claim jumper is very inconsistent but it’s a good place to eat in Laughlin if you have to go out to eat. The chicken fried chicken is always good. Pot pies are delicious. If the customer service was better it would go a long way. Don’t bother ordering alcoholic drinks they are never the same. overpriced. Go to the bar.

The Claim Jumper restaurant in Laughlin was just okay. The place definitely feels dated, and honestly, so does the Golden Nugget hotel it’s located in. You can tell it’s been around a while and could really use some updating to match today’s standards.
The restaurant itself was clean, but the décor and overall atmosphere felt stuck in the past. The food was average — nothing terrible, but nothing that really stood out either. Portions were decent, and service was polite but not overly attentive.
If you’re already staying in the hotel or nearby, it’s convenient for a quick bite, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Laughlin does not have other good eating spots worth checking out either.

I really love their burgers and their fries are most excellent too, whenever I’m feeling fancy, I just want to hit up this place. The ambiance is excellent with the nature wall they have. And I never skimp out on there caramel butter cake, the simply must have dessert!

I have been here a few times over the last few years, and I have always enjoyed the food, service, and their chicken pot pie. It is so good. This visit was no exception. I love the setting of the restaurant in the atrium with large palm trees and a waterfall. Our server was so attentive and friendly. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he enjoyed it as well. We will return when in the Laughlin area.

I like the food here. I like atmosphere and the service. I ordered a steak, medium well but received well done. That’s why I am giving 4 stars. The lemonade was not sweet enough but the rice pilaf and the shrimp pasta were good! Located inside Golden Nugget as soon as you walk in.

Beautiful location, right next to the lobby which has beautiful trees and water feature. The food was amazing like always and our waitress was amazing, However we did have an issue with a lot of run around about whether or not we could get the pot pie which was the only thing I wanted and after back and forth and mistakes on their end multiple times and us waiting 30 minutes for them to make one the waitress and manager apologized so much and said they would take it off the bill for all the inconvenience but when the bill came it wasn’t removed. Not going in looking for anything free we paid the bill and didn’t make a big deal about it. It just sucks that we had such a bad experience that they both said not to worry about it but still proceeded to not take care of us in any form. We still tipped our waitress who was very apologetic about all the problems but whatever situation happened with the manager in the first place and miss communication really ruined our dinner.

Somebody either needs to report this to upper management or the County Health Department.
So to start, it took a little bit to get a drink order placed. We also placed our food order at that same time.
10 minutes later waitress came back with both soda drink orders and loaf of bread.
10 to 15 minutes after that we finally got our soup order. The soup was barely warm. I should have sent it back.
15 to 20 minutes later the waitress brought out are Burger and club sandwich. After eating two bites the burger was completely raw in the middle.
Flag down or waitress and said something about the burger being raw. She then asked didn’t I order the burger medium well. I informed her that the burger was not medium well and barely even was medium rare. Then had to wait another 15 minutes for a Burger.
The waitress did get the soups removed off the bill and the burger refried for the order.
The amount of horseplay that the waitresses were doing and kitchen staff before restaurant even closed was completely unacceptable. Loved the mariachi music that started to play by kintchen staff before we even had our first burgers. NOT!!!!!
Had to ask one of the managers to have the waitress finally bring the bill. More horseplay.
Lastly, paid in cash, and the waitress had the gall to ask if I needed change. No I am not tipping you out 100% of the bill as a tip.
1 hour and 45 minutes for a basic dinner is unacceptable.

Ok ……. I’m not sure where to start.. our appetizer we ordered was the calamari …. And no joke it was absolutely horrible!!!! It smelled like rotten fish and no way were we going to eat it!!! When we informed our server who was actually very sweet she offered to bring us another… which was not happening. At that point we actually lost our appetite and asked to cancel our meal order and just bring us the check for our drinks. The manager came over and we couldn’t believe what came out of her mouth… she said I understand that you don’t like our seasoning we use… we were like what???? Our response was no the calamari is bad and definitely should not smell like that… again I asked for the bill and our server did bring it to us… if I was the manager I would have apologized like crazy and and would have said there is no bill and have a nice day! I have family that lives close by and they said avoid Claim Jumper at all costs.. they have had similar experiences … we have eaten at many other CJ locations and have always been happy… STAY AWAY!!!!!
