Really nice establishment, clean and well decorated. Stopped in on our way back from Smithville to have some dinner. It was fairly busy so we sat at the bar. There was only one bartender running the bar and serving drinks for the restaurant. She did a good job of trying to keep up with everything.
We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer to start, I had the Cuban and my girlfriend had the steak tip bowl. The food was really good and decent portions. We will be back to try the pizza and wings the next time we are in the area.

Just happened to stop in cuz we were stopped at the light and needed a place to eat and it was really delicious, great service, fun atmosphere. Atmosphere. All of the walls are decorated with bulldogs from everyone’s pictures, even booth seats have bulldog fabric, and many menu items are served in dog bowls to the customers. Yum yum yum! I got the bulldog salad. Prices aren’t bad. Sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. I think our waitress was the only one waitressing so service could have been better ( not to ”dog” on our waitress! She did what she could and was great! )

Not too busy on my first visit, but it was a Tuesday night after 10pm. I haven’t been served a beer with frost on the outside of the pint glass in over 10 years, ICE COLD BEER here! The Spicy Peach wings and Honey Jerked Rum wings were both very good but what won me over was thier Brisket Chili, chili like no other. One of the best chili’s I’ve ever had. I will be back for more. Took home an order of Shrimp Bisque, she loved it.. The bartender was fantastic and the people were friendly. A great first time experience.

Stopped in for cocktails and appetizers. Very nice atmosphere and a super friendly team/staff. Makes all the difference. Front of house got it. Kitchen does a great job on the back end! Had the blackened shrimp tacos. Very nice heat. Enjoyed two tequila cocktails. Although, Not a fan of the bar tenders recipe, was refreshing! Definitely can return to this hometown favorite.

Nice bar vibe. Great food! And the service is good as well. The drinks are spot on and they definitely prepare the food fresh and to order without any issues. Haven’t gone but maybe twice but I can say another local favorite.

I ordered regular chicken pot pie. I was never told they took it off the menu and were only offering a special chicken gumbo pot pie !
I did not like how it looked ( slimy green stuff oozing under the crust ). I mentioned to the waitress that I did not like how it liked or tasted . She never offered to bring me something else or credit me! As it was my visiting grandsons birthday , I didn’t want to make a fuss. I called the restaurant that evening and was told I had to talk with the manager the next day. I spoke to the manager the next day. She told me I should have asked for the manager the night we were there . She would not give me a credit or gift card for my meal . I explained that I had complained to the waitress . Most waitresses would have suggested a credit or meal substitution. I didn’t want to spoil our celebration dinner by complaining further at that time .
Extremely disappointed by how this was handled.
My friends and I have often enjoyed coming to your restaurant, but now we will go somewhere else. When I said this to the manager , I could tell she couldn’t care less if she lost our future business !!

Order some buffalo tails to go. Did half with sauce on them and half with sauce on the side. Charged $4.25 for an 8oz side of sauce. Doesn’t make sense. Also the tails are burned. Tasted awful. Ruined the Super Bowl party. Normally they are good but must have not been able to keep up with many take out orders. Save your time with a business like this and go to Tailgaters or Hang Time.
Edit to respond to the owner. Yes, rather than apologize and offer to make it right, you blame the customer for the over charge and wrong food preparation. Living 15 minutes away and having a house full of people to enjoy the Super Bowl, doesn’t really allow someone to pack everything up and head back out to pick up a new order of food. Didn’t notice the charge until I got home. Didn’t notice the wings until I opened up the pan. Seems like retraining for the front and back of house staffs is in order. By the way, I tried to call but was put on hold for 5 minutes and gave up.
