I drove 40 mins there, waited 20 mins or so, it was so packed i didn’t thoroughly check my food, just to get home and not gave it all. I called 30 times no answer. Came up here for oxtail and jerk chicken because I was wanting something different and the food was AMAZING. Haven’t had food this good anywhere up north…. The guy who took my order was very professional and went above and beyond to explain the menu to me. Everyone was very nice and professional. I will return here every time I get close.

Everything you could possibly want in a Jamaican place. Some of the best, if not the best jerk sauce I’ve had. Chicken and sides were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back. I’m very happy we made the trip down.

Sadly disappointed ☹️ waited 2 hours just to get some over cook Brown stew chicken!!!! Too spicy to even try to eat it !!! Travel from out of town and wanted to try this place was very upsetting!! Too pricey to be ruining someone’s dinner . Coco bread taste like a hotdog bun . Cabbage taste like the lettuce on a cheeseburger.

The upper yard was definitely a favorite of mine. I got the oxtail dinner along with the jerk chicken. Everything was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of spice, which I absolutely love. You can’t beat a little heat in your life. I also grabbed some desserts. The cheesecake topped with berries was a nice touch, and the key lime pie was spot on. I’ll definitely be heading back here. Everyone asked me, and I’d say it’s my top recommendation—make sure to get there early! I’ve only been once, but they really know how to draw a crowd.

So I called Oct 16,2025 at 12:15 to place my order over the phone so in order to place the order over the phone you had to give the game information which at first I was skeptical but did it anyways I asked for oxtail over my rice n cabbage she let me know they were out I said okay that’s fine can I get curry gravy over my rice instead she said that was fine the will text me once the order is done so I’m thinking well it shouldn’t be long because the just open right lol so I called at 1:42 just asking that they would text right she stated yes…so now here it is 3:19 I’m like let me call and see what’s going on its been 3 hours still no text so now my Coworker like what’s going on I’m like I’m about to just go up there in see I got there they weren’t busy at all I walk the lady at the counter attitude terrible I’m like I’m here pickin up a order whole time my food had been just sitting there they need issues me a text saying my food was ready like I was told get my food bag dripping of moist food cold so now I check it I had order two jerk fried chicken dinners both with rice n pea n cabbage one was suppose to have curry gravy on rice which j the pic you see it does and a side of shrimp curry I called back up there 6 more times they stopped answering

Hi my fiancé literally just left the restaurant! He had to wait a hour and a half!! When his order popped up thru a text , he said something and the manager got an attitude! Furthermore no plantains were in the meal!!!!! We also have a tip beforehand! The rice is not cooked right! I have been going here for over 10 years and this is the first time this ever took place! We will never go back again. This was terrible!!!!!!!!!! Not one plantain in sight!!!!

First and last time going to this restaurant I’ve been waiting to try this restaurant for seven years. Finally tried it. The eggrolls are so small and soggy when I got them. More wonton than ingredients on the inside. Ordered a veggie plate that only came with rice and cabbage for $11 and now I can’t get a hold of them to ask them if they’re going To fix their mistake. Parking in front is almost impossible and they’re always very busy. It took me an hour to get my food. Spent $30 and some change and never been so disappointed.
