My plate of honey chicken Mac n cheese came out cold. My son’s meal was also cold. My Mac and cheese was also extremely watered down and not appetizing. Will not be back, especially for the price. Beyond disappointing.

Wow what a difference two years makes. Thats how long its been since we were here last. Everything has improved! The big thing for me is they got rid of those devices that were supposed to be used to place your order.

Me and my family waited 2 hours for someone to take our order because apparently the Manager sent all the cooks home sick . Well when the 2 waitress finally came to take our orders it too another hour and a half to 2 hours to get our food. When the food came out we we’re missing 2 of the kids meals and Fries and 4 sides of shrimp. When the shrimp came out it was like 4 small shrimps in a portion cup. So unprofessional….. not to mention my niece still hasn’t gotten her food. The Manager was horrible, he didn’t want to discount or food but gave us $10 off coupons. That place is so bad the employees was talking about the manager. The dishes was dirty and the dish washer was just walking around. It was also bugs in the sprite. The bathrooms was disgusting. I will never eat at this location again..

The only good thing was we got seated fast. I got the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp was supposed to be with mushrooms and onions. They loaded up the onions and had only 5 of the smallest slices of mushrooms I’ve ever soon. I got a, well was supposed to be a loaded baked potato but it practically only had sour cream on it with a few slivers of cheese and a few pieces of bacon bits. I’ve never seen such a horrible and disappointing meal at an Applebee’s. Don’t get disappointed like we did. Do yourself a favor and drive to Hwy 150 Applebee’s in Hoover.

There have been some major improvements in this establishment. Service is the best I have ever experienced at this location. Timely concern to every aspect of dining, I never had to ask for even one detail. Food was great and delivered hot to the table in the perfect order. Manager came by personally and asked about my dining experience.

If you are looking for a great place to go for good food and great service, then stay away from the Applebee’s in Chealse. The hostest had the personality of a night light and instead of writing down our order she tried to memorize it and got it wrong. We only went there to use our gift cards from Christmas and it seems to be our last meal there. I hope they get it right soon.

Sunday lunch, four people. Probably the worst meal any of us have ever had. Two salads had frozen lettuce. Steaks were over cooked and grilled chicken in Alfredo noodles was over cooked as well. Service was slow due to understaffing. Management?? Cooks??
