Perfect place from big parties/groups. Plenty of space to eat outside or inside.
Macaroni is where it’s at. I would get any protein and mix it in with their Mac.
Macaroni is the perfect consistency of cheesiness and the pasta is not mushy. Everything is seasoned well.
Staff is friendly.
Let’s talk about the food, because that’s why we’re here, right? The baked potatoes were out of this world—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. Seriously, these potatoes aren’t just a side dish; they’re a star all on their own. And the brisket? Well, it was tender, juicy, and had that smoky flavor that only real Texas BBQ can deliver. You know that moment when you take a bite, pause, and just have to let out a satisfied “mmm”? Yeah, that was me, probably embarrassing myself, but who cares when the food is this good?
Now, let’s not skip the dessert. Normally, I’m one of those people who “just looks” at the dessert menu, fully intending to resist. But here? Resistance was futile. The desserts were practically waving at me from the checkout area, already beautifully prepared and ready to go. It was like they knew I didn’t stand a chance. And honestly, I’m not even mad about it.
Oh, and if you need a last-minute gift—or just want to treat yourself—this place has you covered with their cute little gift section. I almost left with a bag of goodies I didn’t plan to buy, but who can resist a little retail therapy after a great meal?
Last but definitely not least, the staff was incredibly sweet. It felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home where they’re genuinely happy to see you and make sure you leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. Friendly, attentive, and just all-around delightful, they really added to the experience.
So, if you find yourself near this spot, do yourself a favor and check it out. You might be coming for the baked potatoes, but you’ll leave with a new favorite spot—and probably a little extra dessert in hand. Cheers
First off they were out of brisket, which hey I get it, it happens. But it seemed they had set it all aside for a large group party and they were pretty unapologetic on being out
The chicken was dry, the piece of bread I got was broken in 1/2 and when I asked for another one I was told “It’s $1 per extra slice”. When a group of 4 costs over $100 you expect a a premium product, not the disappointment we had.
The saving grace was the bbq beans , green beans , and cookie. When you’re talking about the sides instead of the turkey, sausage, or chicken (because they were out of brisket), that’s a pretty low bar. Pretty nice decor as well I guess.
Next time will go to Rudy’s, better product, better service, better prices. Dinner service seems to be an after thought.
Place was pretty empty for 6pm.
Decor is great with a lot to look at, museum style.
I took the 3 meat sampler Ribs + Ribs + Quarter chicken.
For sure, these were the best ribs I ever had here in Texas. Moist and peppery to perfection.
I hope this restaurant gets a lot of attention and a lot of customers for the quality of the meat they offer. I will be back with the wife and kids next time!
