My team and I took a valued customer partner to this restaurant based on other Google reviews.
Let me tell you, Pittsburgh Blue did not disappoint us. It was a magical evening filled with laughs, stories and great conversation. Our waitress was simply amazing and super attentive. She actually listened to some of the stories and recognized our customer was thrilled about the service they were getting from one of our company’s program managers. She brought out a special recognition award to celebrate the moment.
Overall, the food was all fantastic. Steaks were done exactly like they were supposed to be, sides were plentiful and shared nicely with our group and they had a great drink / wine selection.
If you are looking to go on a date, hang with some friends or take a valued customer partner to a top notch dinner, than this place is for you.
I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she truly was a rockstar and completed the evening!

Very busy and loud. We were seated almost immediately. Our server was prompt and inviting. He answered all our questions and made helpful recommendations. We started with the small seafood tower. It was just the right amount for the 3 of us. Our salads were fresh and delicious. I ordered the 6oz. petite filet cooked med rare with bernaise. Delicious. We had mac and cheese and corn. I could eat that corn every day. It was my daughters birthday so we got dessert to celebrate. Food and drinks were both delicious. This would be a 5 star review if we didn’t get a dirty fork with dessert and if the noise level was less intense.

If you can afford the expected stiff pricing the service was top end and the food was tasty & nicely prepared. Steaks were perfect ✅ and the hash browns & mushroom side dishes were spectacular . Bone in ribeye and filet mignon are recommended .
Bourbon bread pudding dessert was excellent!

Stopped here for dinner with friends. Had the Filet Mignon with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet was small for the price but quite good. The loaded mashed potatoes were very good, asparagus was also quite good. The restaurant was very busy and looked very nice. Easy to find but parking near the door is quite limited.

This was our first time here. It was recommended to us from one of the local stores in the mall, so we went to try it out. We both (my husband and I) ordered the 8oz fillet mignon. It was so tender, and so delicious! You don’t really need a knife to cut it. The flavor was perfect and cooked to perfection. I like my steak medium plus (a little more than medium, and less than medium well) and my husband likes his steak rare, and it was perfect! Our side dish was the loaded mash potatoes. Those were so buttery, and so much flavor. Our waiter was Rob, and he was very attentive. When I asked him questions, he had the answers I needed, and when he wasn’t sure, he doubled check with other staff to make sure the information was correct. He was great at recommending food items on the menu. I asked about the chimicherri sause, and I’m glad I went with it. Not too spicy , full of flavor and a perfect pair to the fillet. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place.

We had reservations for Valentines Day! Despite how busy it was our service was awesome and food was beyond expectations. We tend to go here occasionally but tonight was particularly great!! The filet was cooked to perfection and had great flavor!! I loved the loaded baked potato with toppings on the side!! Our waitress went above and beyond!!

I’ve been here countless times and what I can say is the service is top notch! I’ve been visited and felt like the establishment didn’t respect my business and I love that. They are always on point. The reason for 4 stars is the happy hour, it’s not nearly as delicious as you’d expect. Tried it twice because I was convinced the first time was a fluke. Not the case, the happy hour wasn’t any better the second time and I don’t need a third to confirm. Now the regular menu on the other hand is a chef’s kiss! The bread with that garlic butter, the steak selection and side options oh soo yummy!! Talk about food coma!! If you want a good steak head on over and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed! And the bathroom it sit worthy!!!

We ordered the 8oz Filet Mignon, Miso Sea Bass, Esquite (Charred Corn), NY Style Cheesecake, and attempted to order A bottle of Shiraz Malbec.
When I pointed to the menu and asked about the Shiraz, he asked if I instead meant “The Merlot”. I said no, but asked if I could try the Shiraz. He brought out a sample of Merlot, which I enjoyed but at the time did not realize this wasn’t the wine I asked to try. I didn’t realize until I got the bill that the Merlot was $15 more dollars than the bottle I was initially asking about, which felt a bit predatory. Still, I’ll take accountability for not knowing my wines.
The Filet Mignon was fine. I felt the Brandy Sauce should have been cooked down a bit more (as I could taste the alcohol still), but my med rare was done perfectly. The Miso Sea Bass was a bit dry, but I enjoyed the flavor of the accompanied green beans and the fish itself.
My favorite items were the fluffy New York Cheesecake w/Strawberry Sauce, and the Esquite. The Corn was seasoned generously, grilled/charred evenly, and complimented with the cheese well.
All this to say, Pittsburgh Blue is a classic example of a place where you are paying for prestige vs the quality of service. It isn’t bad, it just felt like a run of the mill a-la-cart steakhouse that can get away with charging what it does, due to the location it’s in.
Great place to dine for a local who hasn’t treated their partner out for a date night in awhile, but if you know steak and fine dining establishments, Pittsburgh Blue leaves much to be desired.

I love this restaurant. Love the food and atmosphere. One of the best things about Pittsburgh Blue is the manager Mark. He is friendly, accommodating and a consummate professional. You can tell he truly cares about the restaurant and the staff. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have him working there. He makes dining there a pleasure.

Our food was perfectly prepared and presented, and was delicious. Our server was top notch: attentive, helpful, accommodating, friendly, relaxed. We couldn’t ask for a better dining experience. Pricey (about $60 per person before tip, no drinks, included desserts), but worth it.
