Breakfast today at rich’s cafe/waynedale!
This was my first visit and it didn’t disappoint.
The meat lover skillet with bacon, ham, sausage, American fries and cheddar cheese and covered with two over easy eggs and a little hot sauce was perfect.
It came with two pieces of toast. Buttered but not overdone.
Service was great! I think four or five different people offered me a coffee refill. When I got there, I had to struggle to find parking. Luckily with the motorcycle, it’s a little easier to squeeze into a spot. It was a Sunday right after church hours. Probably the worst time to try to find a seat at most restaurants.
I would definitely return and try some more of the menu items.

I always love making a stop at Rich’s cafe. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered. Whether it’s done in or take away it’s never bad. Today I visited on Friday evening and they still had my order ready to go in 10! If you’re looking for a nice diner with ample seating try Rich’s. You won’t be disappointed. Today I got the jumbo tenderloin w/fries and a slice of sugar cream pie.

I’m just going to give this one the stars. It seems like they are just majoring in the adequate. The food was good don’t get me wrong, it just wasn’t something to write home about. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and the value is good. My companion didn’t care for the patty melt.
I’d visit again to see if I can find something more enjoyable.

Terrific place! The staff is maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor even though they are slammed at 10 a.m. on Mother’s Day. They are focused, efficient and non-stop. And still smiling throughout. The wait was 30+ minutes when we left.
We had planned to go for lunch but hunger said brunch was a better idea.
The chorizo skillet ($11) was terrific. My mom’s omelet ($10) disappeared faster than I’ve seen her eat anything in years. Portions are big, prices are low for all that you get. I see why they’re so highly rated and I’m happy to add to that. I’d go with six stars if I could.

Oml… let me say this much….I have never in my life had a better fish sandwich… it was a carry out order and they made sure I had everything! This is absolutely the one place in fort wayne that does not disappoint!

A great little cafe that offers a variety of American homestyle cooked food. The diner is well spaced out and clean. There is additional room for large or private parties. The wait staff are friendly and offer suggestions and can make modifications to your meal for you. Pies in the cooler looked fresh baked and they serve breakfast all day.

Horrible service tonight! Took the Waitress 20 minutes to come take our Order. Never greeted us and then we got put in the other room while there were plenty of open tables in the main dining area, and that’s where everyone else was sat. We have been there several times and never been treated this horribly. Again, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
