Yes, they do serve lunch, too. A very important component of the TP is the friendly, welcoming culture. It’s a bright, cheery place staffed with bright, cheery people.
Back again for another great breakfast. Love returning to the TP because there are just so many options available and they regularly add new menu items. At this most recent visit I had French Toast topped with Fruit (photo) and my buddy had a Veggie Omlette with Fried Potatoes and English Muffin (photo). So, we shared: I took half of the omlette and he took half of the French Toast. Good move.
I am a big coffee guy; so, I love that TP leaves a pot of coffee on the table so you can refill your cup without bothering the server. And speaking of our server — Bryanna was bright and cheery and friendly and helpful.
I guess I’m a TP addict; so, back again for brunch. This time I opted for their Wilbur Skillet — a bed of crunchy hash browns on the the bottom of the skillet, topped with bacon and cheese and, of course, fried eggs over easy (see photo). YUM!
We had another great server today -‐- Vivien was very warm and friendly and, most important, no request was too much for her. And: she checked back often to see if everything was ok and/or we needed anything else.
Only my first visit, and as I was alone, I did not have others with me to provide feedback on their food choices. Hence, not ready to give it five stars…. Maybe after subsequent visits.
Wait staff was pleasant. Atmosphere was bright, white, clean and sunny. Many people there seemed to be having nice relaxing meet-ups. Plenty of seating, so no one seemed rushed to leave and make room for others.
Ordered a pork roll “sammy” with a tropical smoothie. Pleased to see them provide 3 slices of pork roll, not just 2 like some places. On a nice soft bagel with a fried egg and cheese, plus diced potatoes on the side. Smoothie was excellent, didn’t taste watered-down or muted like others I’ve had elsewhere.
Looking forward to returning, and trying other items from their nice-sized menu (not too sparse, not too overwhelming).
Now the downside: The Southern Chicken & Waffles ($18) had disappointingly small portions – just 4 modest fried chicken pieces dwarfed by a giant waffle (photo attached). Tasted good, but left us questioning the value.
Great coffee refills though! Maybe better to try their skillets or pancakes instead?
