The small restaurant with big flavor. First time going here but won’t be the last. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean with a fun dinning area.

This is a classic counter service seafood restaurant. It’s decorated in a throwback style, but is very clean and well kept. Even the bathrooms are spotless- always a good sign for a restaurant.
We took a while at the counter as we were traveling and did not know the menu. The clerk was very patient with us, and gave us suggestions, which we took hee up on. The chowder was amazing. I had a lobster stew that was something I have been dreaming about since. Seriously, it was THAT good. Loaded with lobster, the flavors were heavenly.
Everything was great, and the staff really cares about your experience here. They were very pleased when we gushed over the delicious food. I will go out of my way to come back here.

This place is great. We live in Rochester, and it was well worth the drive to go here to Sanford, instead of eating at windjammer, that place is a joke. I will never eat there again.

Best fried clams I’ve had in a long time. Price was reasonable compared to similar dinners elsewhere. Employees were super friendly and the place was clean.
I was in town for work and if I lived around here I’d come often. I got the whole belly fried clam dinner, which was amazing. They were fresh and perfectly cooked. Also, the fries were the best I’ve had at any fried seafood place and that pineapple cole slaw was interesting and excellent. Keep it up–you guys have a good thing here.

When Lords Restaurant in Wells closed we were all devastated. But then Pam went ahead and gifted us with this fantastic new venue called Lords Clam Box. She runs this place like a well oiled machine- management plus. Sparkling clean, red white and black, the Box doesn’t disappoint. My Fried Clam Dinner was superb. The batter light and golden, my “ clam candy” was a delight to eat. Crispy shoestrings on the side with the famous Pineapple Cole Slaw. My friend had the broiled combo Haddock n Scallops. So ridiculously tender and succulent. She opted for a side of steamed broccoli. Please go here and eat. You will thank me.

It was decent if you want some fried seafood. Large portions. $16.50 for clam strips, fries, Cole slaw, and a roll. Terrible cole slaw though. Almost tasted a bit fermented and too sweet. They have beer. Bonus point for not asking for a tip for counter service. Ok to try once I guess but not sure if return.

What a wonderful establishment. Owner on site the day I was there. Friendly and working with her staff to provide great customer service. The food is what makes this place unforgettable. Had the seafood chowder. Perfection. I have had a lot of seafood and this is one of the best. A clean well kept eating area. Prices were great. A must when in Sanford. Absolutely a must.

My husband had the lazy man Lobster, which was excellent except for the roll, which was definitely stale. Unfortunately this is the second time I have tried the fried clam strips and each time they have been very tough and soggy. It’s as if they’ve been fried up ahead of time and have been sitting under a heat light. Won’t make that mistake again.

Clam roll, haddock sandwich and chicken fingers for $35!!! Great value, speedy service and delicious food. The tartar sauce wasn’t my favorite kind but it was tasty. Will absolutely be back on our way to camp.
