Super cozy & local “Cracker Barrel” style restaurant. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot in Fort Stockton other than McDonalds — this is the spot! Stopped by while on the road and the staff was very friendly, service was fast, food was good & complimentary wifi which is awesome for a digital nomad like myself! (came here on a weekday so no wait time but I can see how it might get busy on weekends since it is a bit small)

Food has a classic home taste, and prices are very fair for the amount of food. We got chicken and waffles, which were okay.. chicken seemed to be more breading than actual chicken and the waffle is pretty sweet but overall good. The biscuits and gravy plate were pretty tasty and enjoyable.
The hash-brows were very very undercooked.
I think my only complain was the service, not very friendly and seems like they are short on staff so they are running around and become very forgetful.
Either way; it was a good stop to get some of that Texas home cooking style food.

Excellent friendly service at breakfast the morning of July 31st 2025. Good variety of breakfast options and overall great quality and tasty food. The pancakes are a house speciality; they are fluffy, smooth and sweet with selections of compote, chocolate chip or other styles. The apple was very tasty. Oh, RV people there is good open parking too!

Overpriced, tiny portions, and some of the worst hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Our server ignored us to socialize while we sat with empty drinks. I also ended up with a bad case of food poisoning later that night. Even the locals told me afterward that this isn’t a place they recommend. Total waste of time and money.

Breakfast was great! Bacon, eggs and hash rowns cooked exactly as requested. Pancake was very tasty with warm syrup. Was halfway through it before I thought about a picture! It’s an older cafe but very clean and neat!

Absolutely the best burger my wife has had in West Texas and she is very picky! The onion rings are spectacular! My green chili omlett was stuffed with goods and the hash browns were just toasty enough. Often the H/B’S are over looked. We will be back !@

Perfect country breakfast joint for our road trip. I had the hog and eggs and my guy had the breakfast sandwich. Both were so good. The eggs were cooked perfectly for both, the breakfast sausage patty was delicious, and hash browns were crispy and flavorful. Everything was greasy but who doesn’t love grease? Service was excellent. See pics!

Was traveling ready for a hot meal there was 2 other tables dining food took forever. Had my 3 lb SERVICE DOG for my ill child in the restaurant in a bag was not asked anything about her when we walked in, she was fully visible , The same lady that was at the front desk when we walked in-later asked us to leave only after we ordered “no dogs allowed” convenient! Rudely too… didn’t ask if a service dog & didn’t apologize for having to ask us she ordered us.

Service not attentive. Egg over cooked, bacon not cooked to specifically as order. Stingy on creamer for my coffee and the gravy and biscuits were terrible not worth the price they charged. Would have been better at a fast food joint.
