Nice spot with a fun, classic diner vibe and a comfortable atmosphere. The service was friendly and the place felt welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was a bit too salty for my taste, which took away from the experience. Overall, decent ambience, but the food could use some tweaking.

Ummm… I’ve always wanted to go to this place and try the food but was little disappointed with the food. It’s not that great. We ordered a sizzler and the combo (onion rings, chicken wings ….) but to our surprise, the sizzler came in a plate instead of that hot sizzlings pan. The Chili Melburger was excellent! An open faced burger with a nice bean chili and shredded cheese poured over the top. Onions served chopped and on the side allow you to choose how much you want. Fries were nice and crisp. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Only negative was that you’re not asked how the burger should be cooked, probably due it being not ground sirloin and not wanting to risk food borne illness. The price was great, though!

Everything about this place was fantastic. We were served by Chelsey who provided service with a smile, was attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Really nice atmosphere too with chilled music.

Do not order the chicken fried steak. It was the most disgusting piece of meat I’ve ever had in my life. It literally tasted like eating a fried dead animal. There was something very very wrong with it.

This is a great place to go for the Diner Experience! Not only are there plenty of interesting decorations and great music, but the food was perfectly cooked. There are tons of options as well. Place was clean. Staff were helpful.

Great place classic diner with authentic decor and we all had a great meal. The Chorizo Skillet was awesome! Huge serving and I ate every last bite and walked away still feeling good which in my book is a testament to quality food… Kids had great food off the kids menu and kids sized milkshakes. Would definitely recommend it as a family friendly diner.

During the 2024 holiday season, I had plenty of time to enjoy my days off, and starting my mornings with a good breakfast quickly became my favorite thing! I’ve visited two different Mel’s Diner locations, but only in Roseville, and I think this location stands out as the best. The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was so fun with all the neon signs! It was raining when we arrived, and the restaurant was a bit chilly inside, but the food made up for it. Tasty and satisfying without any of that low-quality, overpriced nonsense. Sticking to classic, no-frills breakfast options is truly the way to go!

It was Mother’s Day weekend, so I expected complete chaos like every other restaurant. To my surprise, the organization and communication to be seated was a breeze.
Once we were seated, our drinks came out quickly. We needed some extra time with the menu because our kids did not know what they wanted yet. Our waitress was more than accommodating and checked back in with us as soon as we were ready.
The turn-around with our food and additional drinks were sufficient. The cooking quality of our breakfast was amazing! Exactly how we ordered it. I was very satisfied with our service and food quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.
