The burgers were phenomenal—perfectly cooked, high-quality ingredients, and absolutely delicious. The famous cheese skirt is a must-try; it takes their burgers to a whole new level of flavor and texture. Every bite had that perfect balance of crispy cheese, juicy meat, and fresh toppings. The chicken sandwich was also outstanding, tender and flavorful with just the right crunch.

My family and I were visiting from out of town and we also owned a really good burger joint for years and let me tell you when I say this food is top notch I mean it probably in the top 3 burgers I’ve ever had! The prices are very reasonable and the wait was about 10-15 mins even with a lobby full of people that’s pretty good ! The fries were crispy and well seasoned and I almost drank the ranch how good it was! If me and my family come back through this will definitely be a must stop for some grub.

Food is great, staff is always friendly. I just wish they had more space when it’s busy it quickly becomes very crowded, especially if your eating at one of the tables you’ll have people standing and talking a foot away from your food. Definitely makes for a uncomfortable experience.

A small location in Chico California. It’s the first time I visited the place they had outside seating and indoor seating. This reminds me of a place in Sacramento California called squeeze inn where they are known for their cheese skirts.. things on the menu appeared to be costly but it appears to be a great location for many people because there were lines of people coming in.

Nobby’s is the best. It’s been around forever. The cheese skirt might be a current fad, but this place has been doing it forever and they nail it every time. Their buns are obviously homemade and just make the burger that much better. If you are in Chico and you want a burger, nobody beats Nobby’s.

Nobby’s is my favorite place in Chico for fried food and a sandwich. The burgers are also good, and have the option for their famous cheese skirt. The grilled veggie sandwich is my favorite, but I also like that they offer a veggie burger. Their beer battered onion rings and french fries are always nice and crispy, and I love that I can get a huge basket of fries to share for a super reasonable price. Fried pickles and cheese curds are also available. It’s a pretty small little restaurant, that’s not very noticeable if you’re just passing by, but I definitely feel like they are local gem, and everyone I’ve taken there has always been impressed by the food, prices, and service.

This place is one of the best burger places in town. I ordered the mushroom Jack burger. It was awesome!! the bun and cheese, and the produce were all perfect…giant large basket of fries. The establishment itself is small but typical for a burglar spot. I wanted to leave a different type of review and mention how clean the restroom outside of the burger place was…you ask for a key and it was clean, nice and well kept. Definitely wasn’t expecting that which was nice because there’s nothing like going back into the restaurant with no appetite because of a dirty restroom. Lol anyway, I ate lunch on the back patio, which was nice.. highly recommended.

Always amazing! Food is fresh! The employees are always nice! We always have to stop here to eat when we visit Chico! We always get the Petite Nobby Burger with cheese. Very filling! We tried their cheese curds and fried pickles today, they were perfect!

Nobby’s is definitely ranked Top 3 when it comes to dishing out delicious burgers here in Chico! Their unique cheese skirt is to die for. As much as I love their burgers, their philly cheesesteak is also phenomenal! I also like that when it comes to french fries they give you the amount you paid for. Can’t wait to eat here again!

The burger, the legend, the myth of the massive fried cheddar cheeseburger! Nobbys! This place is a local treasure and is not to be missed. I discovered this joint 20 years ago, and try to make it there at least once per year. They receive my highest rating, 5/5 golden onion rings.
