This was our first time at this particular San Jose. Our waiter did not seem enthused to be working. He refilled my husband’s iced tea but not my soda. I thought that was a little weird. The food on the other hand,well, mine was absolutely delicious. I got the two chicken burritos the cheese sauce on them. They were so good. The chicken was tender and moist. Flavoring was really good. My husband got the combination plate of taco and burrito. He said the taco was really good but as far as the burrito went not so good. It had the same hamburger meat as the taco. No beans, no cheese, no onions. Nothing nothing was in there but just hamburger which had very little flavoring. When we left you said he was not in a hurry to return, but I certainly am because mine was so good.

Restaurant was busy, however there was seating available. The service staff is always attentive and friendly. The chips and salsa are always tempting. It is a good spot for friends to meet and chat. I had the veggie quesadilla and my wife had the Taco salad.

The place is very quaint but spacious enough. Service is excellent, fast and accurate. Portions were delicious and enough to share. Fajitas shown were excellent. I ate all the shrimp because they get tough when reheated (like all shrimp). Chicken enchiladas were excellent. Didn’t last long enough for a photo. Tacos de Asada were fantastic. Churros were so good my boss took the extras home.

I used to love this restaurant but I will never go to this location again. The server was rude, she questioned everything I asked for. I ordered a burrito and when they brought me 2 enchiladas I told her I ordered burritos. She rolled her eyes and brought over a manager. He said he would make me a burrito but I have to pay for the ones they brought out or they would lose money. I said those are not burritos they are enchiladas. He said they are Mexican burritos and I have to pay for them. Then a giant roach crawled up the wall and I was done! Nasty place, nasty service, and roaches!

Went for lunch with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. I had the El Pastor tacos. They were some of the best tacos I have ever had! They had more meat than I was expecting (which was awesome!). Our waitress (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) was outstanding! No complaints. I will be back.
