I was skeptical to try this place because it’s in a shady area on 1960, but my daughter really wanted crab. I was pleasantly surprised with a nice atmosphere, great service and decent prices. The food was fried perfectly, not greasy at all. Calamari was delicious. I ordered the catfish and chicken ($13.99). My daughter got combo #2 seafood boil ($28 1 cluster crab legs, shrimp, corn, potato). My brother got the blackened catfish which I will order in the future. Service was great. Food came out fast and fresh. The server was back to refill our drinks several times. There was a group celebrating a birthday. There is plenty of seating for different sized groups.

Hello , my husband and I literally just left the restaurant and wanted to let you know , food was great , and drinks were great .
Our waitress “ GABBY M “ ( that’s the name that was on the receipt
– she literally had the nastiest attitude from the moment I sat down , I was asking her questions and she was very short and even stared at me blinking instead of responding
– she would come and drop off food and not say anything at All. Just place it on the table and walk away
– she also didn’t return to the table for 15 – 30 minutes at a time . So much so I had to stop another waitress to order a refill and dessert .
That other waitress was very kind . But the one assigned to me was not .

The food was amazing. I’ve never had frog legs before and they were a great experience. All the food was on point. The drinks are stiff and my only complaint is why don’t you stay open longer.

After seeing this place for some years, and reading many high rated reviews, my wife and I finally built up the courage to go in and give this restaurant a try. The parking lot was crowded, but we took this as a positive sign. The atmosphere was very loud, we could barely hear one another, but there were a lot of customers that Saturday afternoon, so 3-stars for that. The crowded dining area and crowded parking, to me, was an indication that we were in for a great treat. We kept our order simple with two orders of gumbo and one catfish basket. While waiting, I noticed multiple posted signs that food returns will not be accepted and sales are final. A red flag, but I ignored it. I noticed a majority of the customers ordered various boils, and none ordered what we ordered…red flag #2, but again, my anticipation hoped for the best. Once our food came, immediately the aroma wasn’t what we expected from a “Louisiana-style” gumbo. The first disappointing taste did not live up to my expectation…nor the 2nd or 3rd. While my wife loaded her gumbo with crackers and hot sauce, to make it somewhat pleasurable, I moved on to the catfish. The color was a bit darker than I am used to. The flavor was definately not one I’d want to experience again, but to be fair, I will say it was hot and freshly cooked. The gumbo was hot too, so 2-stars for that. I forced myself to eat as much as possible, wishing there were more honest 3 or less star reviews available to read before walking in. Surely, many others before us must have attempted to send their orders back to justify Seaholic’s posted signs…signs I should have taken seriously. Based on the other customer orders, I’m sure their boils may be quite good, but that’s just my assumption. We really don’t want to find out. The service was friendly and fast, but with no offer to refill our waters (4-stars for that), up until we wanted to pay, for which we waited quite a while to pay our bill. We just wanted out. For us, this was a complete waste of money… a reason why we choose to stick with what we know. For other people attempting to make a decision, I suggest you try this place and form your own opinion. I don’t like leaving less than stellar reviews. But, as I wished for more honest reviews so I could make a better decision with, I decided to contribute and provide one.

I am very sad to share that i will never be coming back to this restaurant.. I bought the seafood gumbo and found a bug in my food. I was almost done eating the rice that was provided and had to throw the rest of the soup away but i could not stop gagging. I called up to the store and told them what i found and they asked me to bring it up there so they can see it and give me a new meal. I was at work so i could not leave but i will not be returning.

torn on this review . I’ve eaten here 2 or 3xs. first time stood for 15 mins, eventually sat myself, bc the host didn’t seat me. restaurant was practically empty. the food is good, full of flavor, great sized crawfish, the wings are delicious, the potato & corn is very good as well. The servers I had all 3xs did come to get the order fast, food comes out super fast, the drinks, & everything is correct. they do work together as a team, & get the job done. the food is priced reasonably, affordable, & worth it. when asking 4 to go items, they’re pleasant about it, & it’s no issue. The restaurant is large, spacious, seemed clean, & accommodating. it’s super chill, lax, & definitely a chill spot. The reason I left 3 stars is bc when I got home the last visit, went to drink my to go drink, I’m glad I took off lid, bc the cup had a bunch of dirt all at bottom of cup, floating in water, & there’s no way the server didn’t see it. there was a literal pile of dirt in my drink. sadly I will not return bc of it & that’s a HUGE HEALTH CODE VIOLATION!! it seemed purposely done due to the amount of dirt in the cup. I’m not concerned about the food that I consumed. go at your own risk. ♀️

We were seated at the table next to the kitchen, possibly the worst table in the entire restaurant as the table behind us seemed to be the table where all the employees put their junk, and kept leftover food containers It looked trashy. We ordered the crawfish and fries for appetizers and the blackened shrimp and the garlic noodle shrimp as our main course. I liked the shrimp but would not order it with the noodle again, the rice was also mediocre. The shrimp was very tasty and seasoned well, just wish the side dishes were better.

The fish tasted ok. Not happy to have a whole tray of salad. Is that what I really paid for. It was enough salad that it filled the entire to go container
