I stumbled upon Brandon’s by pure luck while searching for a brunch spot, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! From start to finish, my experience was excellent. Kenni welcomed me with a smile, and her service was absolutely top-notch—sweet, attentive, and professional. As a fan of grits, I couldn’t resist ordering the oxtail with grits. How can you go wrong with that? It was amazing! The grits were the smoothest, creamiest, buttery (but not greasy) grits I’ve ever had. The braised oxtail was tender, flavorful, and falling off the bone, yet impressively lean with no visible fat.While I only tried this one dish, everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked incredibly appetizing. The portions are very generous, just as the reviews say. The lady next to me had fried chicken and French toast (instead of waffles). Each slice of toast was at least two inches thick, with half a fried chicken on the plate! I also saw a few catfish and grits orders (clearly a favorite) and a massive burger that looked great. The presentation of every dish was immaculate, and my meal was even brought out by the chef himself, which made the experience feel extra special. I’ll definitely be back because there are so many more dishes on the menu I can’t wait to try. I’ll be sure to review them as I go, but something tells me they’ll all be just as delicious.
Update: Just went to it again for my birthday. This time I got to try different dishes since we were a larger party. OMG!!!! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious! Everything has its own signature flavor, yet it’s better than the original version. So, for instance, you get the mac&cheese. It looks like a “regular” Mac& cheese. Yet it tastes like no other Mac& cheese I have ever had before. The best part is that it tastes better!! And this happened today with EVERYTHING we ordered!! For dessert, they got me red velvet ice cream as a courtesy for my birthday. I had never had it before and of course it was also a 10 out of 10! Definitely one of my favorite spots for hearty, good food now… The type of food that touches the soul

I’ve wanting to come here for the longest and I finally made it. We came on a Sunday at about 10am without a reservation. When we came in there was plenty sits available however when we left it was packed.
The service was great the entire time. Food does take its time to arrive as the make it to order. Great vibes.

To eat I had the chicken and cornbread waffles which were absolutely delicious 10/10. The waffles were sweet and not dry. The chicken was so crispy but juicy inside and very well seasoned. It is a half bone in chicken.
We shared the cornbread which was huge , delicious and moist.
Hubby had the blackened salmon with egg and grits. He really enjoyed his dish but which there was more eggs on the plate.
Overall I recommend and want to be back.

Lovely service the food was so flavorful and delightful. I will definitely be coming back and the service was great with Nav. Scratch brunch at its finest. The food was phenomenal and the service matched it. Our server Nav was attentive, proactive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The manager Gabe personally greeted every table, which speaks volumes about the level of hospitality. Chef Harvey’s menu is truly one of one.

We had a great experience at Brandon’s Bistro! I ordered the steak and eggs, and it was cooked perfectly—full of flavor and very satisfying. My wife had the catfish and grits, and she absolutely loved it. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned.
Our server, Melisa, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The service was fast and professional, which made the whole experience even better.

We came for Sunday brunch and loved it. The service was awesome, friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. This is true scratch kitchen and well worth the wait. Everything was well seasoned – we ordered the buffalo fried catfish with grits and the fried chicken and waffles, and both were delicious. The catfish had great seasoning and crunch, and the grits were rich. The chicken and waffles were perfectly done and not heavy at all.
Already planning to come back for dinner to try the oxtail dishes.

Brandon’s Bistro did NOT disappoint! I had the oxtail and grits and my husband had the lobster and steak everything was so juicy and full of flavor. The food and drinks were amazing! Our waitress, Nav, was super friendly and absolutely amazing, she really made the experience even better.
And listen… make sure y’all get the grits. I don’t care what you order—GET A SIDE OF GRITS. too damn good!

This time, we brought our close friends visiting from Maryland after raving about how wonderful the food and service always are—and they completely agreed once the food arrived.
We were thrilled to meet Chef Harvey in person and even luckier to have Nav as our waitress again—she’s always attentive, friendly, and provides top-notch service.
The lamb chops were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and topped with a special chimichurri sauce that was out of this world. The oxtail Philly sandwich with crispy, hot French fries was another standout, and the spicy chili jumbo shrimp appetizer hit all the right notes.
