I understand that coming in a little before closing is not ideal for service workers, (I’ve worked in food service myself), but the least you could do is tell your customers about the kitchen closing. This location closes at 10pm, and we arrived at 9:25. I had a party of three, and we ordered our drinks and one member ordered food. I told the waiter that the rest of us hadn’t decided what we wanted yet so was it ok if he could come back in a bit, and he said ok. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks to come out. I tried to order a croffle and mango sticky rice, but the server informs me that they just closed everything in the kitchen besides the premade desserts. It was very disappointing as they still had 20 minutes left before officially closing. And I’m fine if they close the machines early, but tell the customers who are waiting to place an order!!
Food and drinks were very appetising, though. Would recommend going but just don’t go before they close because they close everything without letting you know!

Waffle with ice cream here is super delicious! The waffle is warm and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and pairs perfectly with the creamy ice cream Sitting upstairs is very relaxing — cozy, quiet, and a perfect spot to chill or chat with friends ☕️
Highly recommend Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee in Virginia if you’re looking for a cute dessert place to hang out! ✨

Food was delicious. We ordered the chicken and waffles (honestly our favorites), salt crepes (also very good), we tried the French toast with Milo and maybe that was to sweet but is perfect if you want to share it! And the sodas, it is so hard to find good flavor sodas and we got the lychee peach soda and it was perfect, no sweet and a lot of flavor. Friendly place, I will come back!

This place used to be great and had been coming here since 2018 but the large honey toast (we got Nutella) is definitely a lot smaller than it used to be. Maybe they used the small size toast by accident. Probably won’t come again

Went for dessert after dinner with family. We were seated on the second level immediately next to a huge window facing the street. This only added to the atmosphere as you felt like you were in a small cozy cabin as we watched the snow fall outside.
I ordered the waffle with bananas, ice cream, etc and tasted everything else. I’m used to basic chain dessert which is good, but for a this was an example of how a small local business can blow any chain out of the water with phenomenal products. You could hear and smell the staff making the food on the first floor as we waited, telling us everything is as fresh as possible.
Everything was warm as needed and tasted so delicious. I know there’s a dairy queen up the road, but pay the extra couple bucks and treat yourself to a REAL dessert experience.

The honey toast is delectable and the atmosphere is absolutely charming and cozy, yet still refined. Items are pricey but high quality and worth it for the occasional treat!

Cute little place in Vienna! Lots of options for dessert. We had afogato, pineapple passion smoothie and Nutella Addict Honey Toast! Smoothie was good. AFOGATO was delicious but that Nutella Addict Honey Toast…OMG!! So freaking good! That toast was fantastic! 11 out of 10.
Sunday night was busy but there were still seats. Service was good but I ordered a Passion fruit sparkle and pretty sure I got passion pineapple smoothie. Even when I asked twice they said that was it. Maybe I was wrong! It was still good! We had no issues with parking though I’m sure on a busier day there would be minimal seating and parking.
Looking forward to going back!

This place had the absolute cutest ambiance ever and is probably one of the nicest decorated cafes I’ve ever been to. There is so much to look at. We enjoyed a very cozy afternoon here. The staff was friendly but had a long wait time; although I don’t blame them because it appeared to be only 2 ladies working. I found the quality of the food to fall a bit short. We ordered the Oreo toast which I found to be a bit dry and was just topped with spray cream. It was cute, but I didn’t find it to be outstanding because of the quality, and not really worth the price. The rose latte I received tasted sweet and yummy, but it arrived lukewarm and wasn’t hot. However, the iced drink we ordered was pleasant and was perfectly strong and sweet. Maybe it was just what we ordered and their other food is better. Overall, I’d say the atmosphere is what really makes this place worth a visit.

My husband and I have been loyal customers at Magnolia for a long time. We truly love this place, the coffee is great, the food is amazing, and we especially love the crepes. The atmosphere is also one of the reasons we kept coming back.
However, on our most recent visit, we brought our small corgi service dog for the first time, and we were told we were not allowed to stay. We left immediately.
This was not only incredibly disappointing it was completely unacceptable. A service dog is not a pet, and being asked to leave because of a service animal is wrong and discriminatory. Magnolia ruined what used to be a wonderful experience for us with this decision and how it was handled.
We have always supported this business, but after being treated this way, we will not be returning. If Magnolia cannot respect customers with service animals, then they do not deserve the loyalty or support they’ve received.
Very disappointed.
