Carnitas were tender and flavorful. All of our platters were so good. Every single dish was so worth ordering. Open parking.
Family friendly.
We got our food literally within 5 minutes and we did dine in.
Everyone here fixes the problems immediately without having to wait for our waiter!
The restroom is extremely clean, the whole restaurant is clean and neat. This is our first visit, probably the only time because we’re only passing by. But we’d love to share a great place to eat like this to our friends.

If you’re on the hunt for authentic, flavorful fajitas in South Tulsa, look no further than Uncle Paco’s Mexican Grill. Tucked away just off Memorial Road near the Starworld movie theater in Bixby, this hidden gem is worth discovering.
I stopped in around 7 PM on a Saturday, and as expected, it was packed. Even so, the staff managed to seat us right away with impressive efficiency. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, creating a warm, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is a little loud but undeniably family-friendly and clean.
We kicked things off with fresh, hot tortilla chips served with two dipping sauces—a classic red salsa and a unique white dipping sauce with a zippy, horseradish-style kick. I personally loved the originality of the white sauce, though it’s definitely a love-it-or-leave-it for some.
I ordered the Faja Trio—a classic combo of steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. The meats were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. The steak came in ample juicy slices, and the shrimp was skewered, generously portioned, and bursting with flavor. Served on a sizzling platter with grilled peppers and tomatoes, the dish also came with rice, beans, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, and your choice of tortillas. I opted for the flour tortillas, which were clearly homemade and reminded me of my abuela’s cooking—soft, warm, and just the right amount of chew.
At $15.99, the Faja Trio was not only satisfying but a great value considering the quality and portion size—I even had enough left over for lunch the next day.
Highlights
Generous portions, especially the Faja Trio
Unique white salsa adds a fun twist to the starters
Friendly, efficient service even during peak hours
Homemade tortillas worth the visit alone
Excellent value for the price
Minor Notes
Can get loud during dinner rush
White salsa may not be to everyone’s taste
Final Verdict:
Uncle Paco’s hits the mark with fresh, hearty dishes, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere. It’s now my go-to spot for fajitas in Tulsa—and I’ll definitely be back soon.
Salsa was good not too spicy. The white sauce that came with chips was delicious reminded us of a restaurant that did the same in Illinois. Food portions were what you expect at most Mexican restaurants!
He had the carnitas/steak burrito and said it was a good filling.
I had the chicken fajitas, the tortillas were so warm & fresh! I liked mine but it didn’t agree thinking must have been a seasoning from chicken veggies that triggered an acid reflux attack. Otherwise not bad food 7/10. We tried but probably wouldn’t return.
The bathroom was not clean, with sticky floors.
Nice they offer a military discount for vets.
We recently hosted a family gathering here, and the service was absolutely impeccable. The staff at Uncle Paco’s struck the perfect balance: they were incredibly attentive—our drinks were always full, chips never ran low—while also giving us the space to enjoy one another’s company without interruption.
The food? Outstanding. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and bursting with authentic flavor. From the colors on the plate to the seasoning in each bite, every dish felt like it was made with intention and pride.
The atmosphere adds so much to the experience. The family-friendly setting, partially lit by the open sky, blends beautifully with a cozy, low-lit section complete with a stylish and well-stocked bar. There’s something for everyone here, and the ambiance makes it feel special whether you’re gathering with loved ones or planning a casual dinner out.
Best of all, the value is unbeatable. Huge portions, top-tier service, and delicious meals—all at a price that makes you feel like you just discovered a hidden gem.
This may just be our new favorite place for family get-togethers. Thank you, Uncle Paco’s, for making our time so memorable!
