I really enjoyed my experience here at LP Street Food. I stopped in for dinner while visiting Cedar Rapids for the day. I was going to go somewhere else, and they were closed for the day. I was so happy I found this place. The patio was so nice, as well as the service. I really enjoyed my street tacos and tater tots. I also really enjoyed the drinks as well. They were very refreshing. Overall great place to stop in for some food and drinks, and chill for a while. Would highly recommend!

Only got takeout, but it was DELICIOUS. When I was inside, the atmosphere seemed really great. I can not express how good the food was. The service was also great. The food was good enough.I didn’t think to take a picture before I started eating.

What an awesome hidden gem! Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms and eating area. We sat outside on the patio and it was very clean and waitress was very attentive. Great food. They have a huge adult beverage list. Highly recommend!

I have gone here a few times over the past few months and absolutely love it! Their food and drinks are amazing, high quality, and so flavorful. I have tried the LP street tots, the gyro, the hummus appetizer, and a few of the mocktails, including the Foxy Tai. Everything was so good! Service is fast, friendly, and helpful. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I will be back soon! Highly recommend!

If you’re in Cedar Rapids and not eating at LP Street Food, what are you even doing with your life? Seriously — I stumbled in hungry and left feeling like I just attended a flavor festival where every dish was a headliner.
First off, let’s talk about Kimmy, the rockstar server who could easily run for mayor of Cedar Rapids and win based on her vibes alone. Friendly? Check. Funny? Check. Basically psychic about what you’ll want to order? Also check. Kimmy didn’t just serve food — she made the whole experience feel like I was being hosted by an old friend who just so happens to know exactly how to pronounce “gyro” correctly.
Now… the gyro. Holy Zeus on a Vespa, it was phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned meat, pillowy-soft pita, and a tzatziki sauce so good I considered asking if they sold it by the gallon. Every bite was like a mini Greek vacation, minus the jet lag and questionable souvenir keychains.
The vibe inside LP Street Food is a wild, wonderful mashup of cozy and cool — kind of like your coolest friend’s basement if they also happened to be a five-star chef. Music bumping, laughter all around, and somehow everyone there looks like they know they’re at the best place in town.
Bottom line:
If you want killer food, a killer atmosphere, and the absolute best server named Kimmy, get yourself to LP Street Food. Order the gyro. Thank me later.

Holy buckets! We stopped in on our way through CR, convenient location not out of the way, and the whole experience was awesome. Loved the tater tots! Quality food. Gyro was on point. We didn’t use it- but they have nice outside seating where dogs are welcome. We’ll definitely stop in again on our way back through town. Thanks!

It’s wild that I haven’t been here before today, but I throughly enjoyed my experience at LP Street Food! I had several Whiskey Sours, incredible appetizers (Pizza Pocket thinger and pretzel), and dang good entrees (Steak special, lettuce wraps, black bean tacos, and -not pictured- ramen.)
I normally don’t have additional toppings on my steak, as I’m a salt and pepper guy; however, I knew going in this was topped from their FB post. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Though I’m not converted to steak toppings, I certainly enjoyed this steak! Great special! The potatoes and asparagus were delicious as well!
Apart from the food, we just really enjoyed the experience. I normally hate not being able to make a reservation at places, but here you get the buzzer and get served drinks/apps from the patio by the fire. Inside was also a great ambiance and our server was top notch (I can’t recall her name due to my brain not working, Delores? Delania? I’m super sorry if you read this!!)
