Tried Zapata’s at the recommendation of a friend and we loved it.
I had the Tacos De Pascado and it was DELICIOUS. Wife had the Crab Quesadilla and our daughter a chicken & cheese Quesadilla.
For dessert I had the fried banana & the girls had churros with ice cream.

But to night I order takeout and my molcajete with chicken steak and shrimp it has and excessive amount of juice in the togo pan, while checking out I requested a soda I paid for my food and the cashier continue to check people out as I waited me my drink. Amazing restaurant. I have nothing to complain about except sometimes there is noplace to park. I have a couple of favorites from the menu, but the list just grows every time I go there. You can also build your own amazing dish from their extensive list of sides and a la carte items. The servers are always friendly. One of my favorite appetizers pictured, their chicken fingers and fries (they are to die for).
The restroom clean and equipped (yes I care about that at a place where I spend money). There is a bar, an arcade. My favorite place to eat when in Florence.

We went in hungry! Excited about authentic Mexican food. Smelled like old oil in the restaurant as soon as you open the doors. Very Prompt service as soon as we sat down. Ordered our food.
The waitress came back with our orders. One order was wrong. The waitress eventually came back and asked about the one dish we weren’t eating. We told her it was not what we ordered. She giggled a few times and told us it was what we ordered. She charged us for the meal anyway.
When we received the bill we seen she overcharged for all of our meals compared to prices on menu. About $13 over, with no appetizers, and we all had waters. We paid and left knowing we were not coming back anyway.
The positives I can say about this place. They have okay rice and beans and they get to your table fast.

It’s always nice to have an outstanding Mexican restaurant nearby. It’s right at the end of our street and I have been probably 10 times now. I’ve had everything from the seafood burrito, chorizo queso, and of course they’re exquisite beef enchiladas. They have karaoke on Thursday’s but it doesn’t matter what day you go they’re always busy….. The reason being is they’re great and have quick service. My most recent visit today I ordered the polle Al chipotle & I don’t think I will order anything else…..EVER! It was so incredible!!!! The sauce is to die for on the chicken. The only alteration I would make is refried beans instead of the fancier version that comes with it.
