Went as a group for a nice Saturday evening dinner.
Malory took good care of us, as we enjoyed the best General Tso’s shrimp ever, and the Happy Family meal. We enjoyed the quick service, generous portions and easy conversation, with music that wasn’t too loud. Nice place to go.

This is one of our go to spots in the county. Great atmosphere great service and good food. Food is always hot and fresh. Never a complaint. Starting going here because of a good neighbor who worked there recommended. So I also do recommended!

Omg this was amazing! The Vietnamese roll was incredible…I’ve thought about it daily since our visit.
The food was flavorful, cooked wonderfully, quick, it was just excellent.
Our waitress was Mallory and she was great – attentive, not pushy, friendly.

I had such a fantastic experience at Ginger Red Asian Bistro in Mechanicsville! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was nothing short of amazing. The summer rolls were incredibly fresh, light, and full of flavor. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The buttery curry fried rice was another standout dish. Perfectly cooked, rich, and savory with just the right balance of spices. It’s the kind of comfort food you can’t stop eating. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. Kat, in particular, went above and beyond to make my to go experience wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find customer service that genuine and caring, but Kat absolutely nailed it. If you’re in Mechanicsville and craving incredible Asian cuisine paired with top-notch service, Ginger Red is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

This place did not disappoint. Everything I tried today was very delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. This place will definitely be in my restaurant rotation. We ordered sushi (kobe, Philly, and spicy Philly roll) Singapore veggie noodles, honey chicken, smoke salmon crisp.

The garlic chicken taste bad like bad for you like make you sick if you eat food
Really get ripped off here and I cannot say enough about how disappointing the food and the cost for the food is to me

Waited an hour for take out. Part of our order was missing and had to waste another half hour driving back to get it. The food wasn’t worth it and the hassle of being too lazy to put my food in the bag makes me think twice before spending another dollar here again.

My wife and I have now dined here 3 times in the past couple months. Asian food is very good and consistent. We’ve ordered the sushi sampler plate with the 3 sushi options from the appetizer menu which is pretty tasty. Pictured are the two chicken menu items we each ordered which were very good. We will dine here again when craving Asian cuisine.

Delicious! First time. Will go back. Food served hot and timely. Best crab rangoon I’ve ever eaten. So much food. Brought home as much as we ate. Next time will go to their brunch served on Sunday from 11 to 3. Try different small plates. Not buffet. All food even brunch served from kitchen. Great service. Was busy on Friday but arrived at 5:30 and finished one hour later. Very nice, clean restaurant with a bar. Very popular place.
