First of all, the variety of food was amazing. There were so many different items to choose from that it was hard to decide what to try first. Everything looked fresh and tasted just as good as it looked. You could really tell that the food was prepared carefully and consistently replenished throughout the night so nothing ever felt like it had been sitting out too long. As soon as a tray was close to finishing, the staff brought out fresh food right away. That attention to detail made the whole buffet feel high quality.
The price is also very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. The buffet is $27.99, and with tax and fees it comes out to about $31. If you pay cash, it’s roughly $28–$29. For the selection, freshness, and overall experience, it’s definitely worth it.
What impressed me even more was how well everything was run. The night I went (Saturday), they hosted around 180 people, which is a huge crowd for an iftar buffet. Despite that, everything went so smoothly. The staff handled the rush extremely well and kept everything organized.
The service was truly exceptional. The servers were constantly walking around, cleaning tables quickly and keeping the dining area neat. Plates were cleared promptly and the whole place stayed very clean even with so many guests. You could tell the team was working really hard to make sure everyone had a great experience.
The owner also deserves special recognition. He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive. It’s clear that he cares a lot about the restaurant and about making sure guests enjoy their meal, especially during Ramadan.
Overall, Hilal Grill’s Ramadan buffet is fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious, the variety is huge, the price is fair, and the service is excellent. Hosting nearly 180 people and still keeping everything running smoothly is impressive. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great iftar buffet experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
A special thanks to Nazia for her outstanding service She was extremely polite, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. She treated us with great respect and ensured that everything was perfect for us. Her kind attitude made our visit even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Pakistani food and excellent customer service. We will definitely visit again!
For my takeout order, I tried the beef biriyani and chicken biriyani. Honestly, they were Okay but not the best biriyani I’ve had in Phoenix. Both lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for, and the beef biriyani, in particular, felt a bit dry. On a brighter note, the mango lassi was good—refreshing and well-balanced, it was a great addition to the meal.
the parking situation; the lot is limited, which could be a hassle during peak hours. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a one-time visit, especially if you’re curious about their kabobs or want to enjoy their pleasant indoor vibe. I’d recommend giving it a try but don’t expect the biriyani to blow you away. They do have a buffet which is 29.99 per person (Only Sundays I believe)
