A hidden gem in Lisbon, great Indian food and wonderful menu. We were there early on a weekday so we had the place to ourselves. But by the time we left it was filling up and for good reason. The flavors were great and service was excellent. The breads were very good and mango lassi was perfectly made.

This is my fifth visit to Lisbon, and India Gate is always on my list. Honestly, it’s one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to — anywhere in the world. A year ago…. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been too! The food is super flavorful and you can tell that they have a very experienced chef. The ambiance is wonderful and the people here are just delightful! There is absolutely nothing I could say that is less than perfection! This is a true hidden gem. When in Lisbon, if you miss this experience—then you have truly missed out! Top notch! Don’t miss it!!!!!!

Best curry i have ever had.
I was here on a business trip, walked past by chance and the smell was amazing. Greeted by a very friendly staff member. I was unsure what to have but the owner came over to ask me lots of questions about the flavours I liked then recommended 2 dishes.
It truly was the best curry I have ever had and I have had a fair few in my time.

I had an amazing dining experience at Índia Gate last night! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious!
However, what truly stood out was the dessert. I had the kulfi and it was absolutely mouth-watering! It was definitely the highlight of the meal!

Showed up on a whim and was seated immediately, the wait staff were very friendly and attentive and took my aversion to coriander seriously!
