We had Pad Thai, sushi, and gyozas, and everything was delicious. The dishes were beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, ideal for enjoying your meal at a leisurely pace. The service was fast and attentive, and the value for money is very good for the area.

We always come here when we’re looking for a quick and delicious dinner. In years, we tried so many things. We liked everything we tried so far. My favourite dish is the teriyaki salmon bowl with rice. I always have jasmine tea with it. The people are very nice and we love the high street view by the windows. It’s one of our go-to places.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hare and Tortoise for nearly 20 years, starting with their Bloomsbury location. I’ve visited all their branches over the years and often return to the Kensington branch. Today, we visited as a family of five, and once again, the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and we left happy. I’m especially loving the new additions to the menu— the tuna steak is a definite highlight!

Was in the mood for some ramen and got a decent bowl here!
Came here on a Saturday at around 3pm and there was no wait for a table for two. It was quite quiet and there were plenty if tables.
Service was super quick and everyone was friendly.
Got the shrimp and chives gyoza which had a nice crisp on the bottom. The chive to shrimp ratio was spot on and it had a great texture.
Also got a chicken yakitori. Chicken was juicy and perfectly uniform. It was also smoky and nicely charred.
Finally, got the chilli ramen with chicken instead of pork. Not a huge amount of depth but super tasty and there was a nice subtle chilli. It was decent and filled that craving for ramen.
I liked the meal for the food and the price. Would come again to get some of the sushi and try the other dishes.

Food came out super fast. It was subpar. Not worth a second visit for. Poor service from inattentive waitresses. Hot tip: don’t order wine in larger quantities- it comes in a giant glass instead of a carafe lol

Celebrated my daughter’s 13th birthday here today. It was great. We had dragon rolls, soft shell crab, ramen, pad Thai, sushi flight tacos, spider maki and gyoza.
All of the food was delicious. It came out promptly and service was polite and efficient.

It’s not the best sushi I’ve ever eaten but it’s very good value for the quality it is.
