Went on a very cold day and had to keep my coat and hat on. However this spot was amazing. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Once I received the bill I had to take a 2nd look. 2 meals under $30 including tip? Where do they do that at? A must go if you are in the area.

Mary’s Kitchen located at 222 Main Street Wilmington Delaware 19804 is a hidden gem for anyone who enjoys great food in a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger and it was absolutely delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor, with the melted Swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms adding the perfect savory touch. The bun was fresh and soft, holding everything together without being too heavy. The portion size was generous and every bite was satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm and cozy, a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Mary’s Kitchen is definitely a place worth visiting if you are in Wilmington.

I stopped in here today for breakfast because their competitor, Newport Restaurant, was closed due to a water main break. The breakfast burrito was mediocre, even with the sour cream and salsa. The home fries were lukewarm. The coffee was the best thing that they had there. My server, JR, was not fully attentive at all. It took him forever to check up on me. The speed of service was very slow. Needless to say, it wasn’t worth it. Finally, the hostess was very fresh when I went to pay my bill. She never asked how my experience was or really greeted me properly. I think that I will continue to do business at Newport Restaurant

my favorite breakfast place!! every staff member I’ve met has been the kindest and so accommodating. I have some dietary restrictions and each time the food was accurate and delicious. the coffee is great, prices are reasonable, and customer service is excellent. thank you mary & all staff members:)

We would have drove passed this place if GPS hadn’t said “turn here”. It’s charming looking in an old fashion way and we had no expectations. It’s a little cramp inside but the food was fantastic, the service was great, and the prices were AMAZING. We love that it had a bar to get mimosas! We will definitely add this to our regular spots.

Food was good and the atmosphere was good too. I was an overwhelmed mama. My three year old wanted to go everywhere. When I was ready to go I don’t think throwing away the food versus packing it up was the way to go. They didn’t even wait before taking it away to the kitchen. At least I can say I came.
