Run! Don’t walk here. From the beginning to the end the whole experience was exceptional. Every 15 minutes or so the whole staff greets the customers with a welcome! You can sample the meats if you are not sure which to get and the al pastor and chicken were awesome! They also hand make each tortilla by hand which is super unique. I could write a whole paragraph about the tortilla because of how fresh and soft it was. One of the supervisors on duty noticed how much I liked it and even gave me an extra one on the house. Alondra also was super attentive to the tables and even though it’s small and busy she was asking if the food was okay and if we wanted more salsa! Hats off to Baqba! If you are in the area stop by to get your fill!

Upon arrival, we noticed the line was going outside the business door. Although there’s a wait time to start an order, it’s done in a timely matter and efficiently. There are a variety of meal options such as burritos, salads, bowls and quesadillas. Variety of meat and toppings to choose from as well so it can be done to your liking. Similar style to chipotle but better in my opinion. Due to it being popular, the inside can get packed with limited seating and the line so one can get overstimulated. Overall good food and good customer service. Definitely will be coming back when in the area

Wow, beats my expectations! Leslie was so amazing and kind. She kept coming to us and asking how we were and even brought us sauce after we already ordered. The wet burrito was phenomenal! 10 times better than Chipotle and they LOADED their burritos, literally busting from the seams. The tortillas are soft and chewy, which is expected from homemade. Definitely will be coming back again

Saw this place in Instagram and decided to give it a try. When I got there the line was out the door in front of the other store. Waited about 30 mins and it was totally worth the wait! The smell of all the food was so aromatic. The tortillas are all fresh to order. There’s so many different options definitely and varites to choose from. The steak arracherra is definitely the best in my opinion. I’ve been back several times and all the meats are delicious. Definitely definitely recommended.

Way better than that other place(Chipotle)!!! Freshly made tortillas and you fill it whatever you like!!! The lady could barely roll the tortilla up!!! It probably weighs over 2lbs. Everything seems to be freshly made and so much to choose from!!! My wife also split an order of tacos with me!!! She tried a bowl and we loved it!!! I ate half her bowl and 1 taco!!! Now we have a whole burrito to split for tomorrow!!! This place is amazing and portions are extra large!!! We’ll be back to try some other items on the menu!!! The ladies are so helpful, beautiful and friendly!!! The place seems to always be busy, so be ready for a little wait!!!

Hospitality – ⭐️

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine “Welcome.” That matters. The employees were attentive, not just to me, but to everyone coming in. You can tell they’re locked in on their job. Since it was my first visit, I wasn’t sure what to order, and without hesitation I was given samples, enough to actually make up my mind, not a tease.

Miguel helped me out when I was already eating outside. He came by to check if I needed anything, brought me lime and salsa, and told me not to hesitate if there was anything else I wanted. That kind of service sticks with you. Quick, thoughtful, and personal without hovering.

Environment – ⭐️

Being inside Baqba feels alive. People moving, working, eating. Music playing. The grill sizzling. The kitchen hoods pulling up the smells and dispersing them at the same time. Employees calling things out, asking questions, building meals out loud. It’s a little hectic, but in a good way, it’s energy, not chaos. Exactly what I’d expect from a real, busy Mexican spot. A trabajar.

Food Quality & Taste – ⭐️

The food was solid and memorable. I ordered a bowl with white rice, pinto beans, pastor, steak arrachera, veggies, and a few toppings to make it my own.
The steak needs no changes, zesty, lemony, ranchera-style flavor done right. The pastor was good, but slightly on the sweeter side. I’d recommend asking for it sliced traditionally off the trompo, with some pineapple if you’re going the taco route. The grilled veggies, especially the onions, were a great add. Rice had good consistency. Ask for a lime, it elevates everything.

Cleanliness – ⭐️

Cleanliness was clearly a priority. Tables were looked after, floors inside and outside were clean, and the bathroom was clean, well-lit, and cooled. Even the outside was being maintained by the pigeons. Overall, the place felt cared for.

Pricing – ⭐️

Pricing felt fair and honest for the quality and portion sizes. Compared to similar chains like Chipotle, where the price keeps going up while portions and flavor fall behind, Baqba actually delivers. Here, the pricing makes sense, you get what you pay for in both quantity and taste. Nothing felt overpriced.

Overall – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I had to sum it up: it’s like Chipotle, but smaller, so they care more. There’s more want here. More hunger. More energy. It doesn’t feel whitewashed, It feels like a place still trying, still grinding, still hungry to be good. And that shows in the service, the food, and the atmosphere.
Happy customer. I’ll be back. And recommend to friends and family.

First time here & it didn’t disappoint! We got 2 tacos de Al pastor, 4 tacos de sirloin & the burrito de Arrechera. I’m not a fan of fat on meat, so I’m glad none of it was on anything we ordered. All the meats were very tender & juicy when biting into them as well as seasoned & marinated greatly. They don’t short you on the meat or sides so that’s a plus. Wait time was around 30-40min, but it was Saturday night & the line was out the door. Well worth the wait, looking forward to going back! Gracias por el servicio y la comida!

This is the best place for a great meal. All of their food is generously seasoned & cooked well. An arrachera burrito with guacamole is $17 and is double the size of a normal Chipotle burrito. Wait time in person during peak hours can be out the door , but ordering online is so much easier.

I found this place on someone’s YouTube short. Food was real good! They let you sample whatever meat u want and every one greets you. Great customer service. The only caveat is the line. It was a line out of the door but they provide small water bottles. The amount of food they serve you is huge! I’ll definitely be returning

I got the al pastor salad, my wife got the barbacoa salad. The al pastor was chewy and fatty. The meat from some of the nearby food trucks is much better. The barbacoa flavor was good. There wasn’t much lettuce for it being a salad. The queso was ok and the green salsa was good. We were surprised the food was this average given there’s always a long line.
