This restaurant/bar is a whole vibe. It’s mostly outdoor type of seating but it’s absolutely gorgeous and well kept.

My husband got the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and I got the Lemon Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon. Both dishes were pure perfection. For drinks, we got a Ruby’s Nectar and Pleasantly Plum-P. These drinks were perfectly strong balancing flavor and alcohol. We would definitely come here again!

If you are visiting San Diego, I’d recommend this place for sure.

Made this reservation about a month ahead for Valentine’s Day and showed up about 15 minutes early. They actually had a table ready and seated us a little early, which was super nice.

Our table just happened to be surrounded by some big, loud parties. We tried to make it work for a bit, but it was tough to have a real conversation for a one-on-one Valentine’s dinner. Not the restaurant’s fault at all, just the situation.

I eventually went up and talked to an extremely sweet staff member named Logan to see if anything might be available, even though we had already ordered. No dice, so I sat down. Then within a couple minutes they came over and offered us a quieter table, which was really thoughtful.

That completely changed the night. The Valentine’s setup was beautiful and we were able to actually relax and enjoy dinner. Huge thanks to Logan and the staff for going the extra mile and taking great care of us.

If you’ve seen this place all over social media, believe the hype, especially during the holidays! We stopped by during Christmas and they absolutely went ALL OUT with the decorations. Between the glitzy lights and the golden leaves, walking in felt like stepping into a total fantasy land. It is absolutely stunning.

We had dinner plans elsewhere, so we just came in for appetizers, but the food was solid. The Chips and Dips were fantastic (the dips were super tasty), and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts were cooked perfectly–nicely crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

The service was good, too. Just a heads up: You definitely need a reservation. It’s in a trendy part of University Heights and gets packed fast. Highly recommend for the vibes!

Inside Out San Diego is such a gem! The space is clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly cares about your experience from start to finish. You can tell a lot of thought goes into everything they do, and it really shows. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone in San Diego looking for a great experience!

We had a wonderful meal from start to finish. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food quality really stood out. We enjoyed the garlic bread and prawns to start, followed by a perfectly cooked filet mignon that we absolutely loved. Everything was flavorful and well prepared, making the entire dining experience feel special and satisfying.

The food was really just okay, the chicken and waffles were pretty standard. The apple crisp dessert was pretty neat having both hot and cold parts to it. The other dishes were okay. Parking will be pretty difficult, especially since there’s major construction going on where they’ve already demolished an entire street. Sitting on the upper area feels different than the lower area. The decorations are sorta out of the way at the top and not really viewable. Also at the top theres small studios where people are working or living, which was weird. I dislike how they have a separate lunch and dinner menu. The lunch menu doesn’t have much.

I have been to Inside Out twice now and it was incredible on both occasions. The food and drinks are delightful and delicious. We were there for breakfast and they were able to accommodate a special request for my friend who does not eat pork. The service is top tier…and the ambiance is straight out if a fairytale! My first visit was in the springtime, so I had to return to see what had changed for Fall and they dud not disappoint. This place has such a fun vibe, great for ladies brunches, a date, or special occasion celebration.

We finallv got to try the InsideOUT restaurant in Hillcrest. What a fun experience! The decorations are so festive. The food is delicious and service/staff is/are awesome (and it even “snowed”)!
From the Brunch menu, we had the Chilaquiles, Loco Moco and Croissant breakfast sandwich. The Mexican Hot Chocolate with cookies and the Sugar Plum Spitzer were all delicious!!
We will definitely be going back! Thank you, Grant, for taking such great care of us!

Beautiful hidden gem in Hillcrest, and by hidden gym, I mean they have a whole garden inside. It’s beautiful. It’s very tranquil. The staff is very friendly and prompt, which is amazing.

I ordered salmon and garlic bread. By far the best salmon ever I wish I had a bigger stomach to fit the whole thing. Also had something off their nonalcoholic menu, which was amazing.

Definitely coming back and if your local San Diego again, definitely worth checking out
