My husband got the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and I got the Lemon Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon. Both dishes were pure perfection. For drinks, we got a Ruby’s Nectar and Pleasantly Plum-P. These drinks were perfectly strong balancing flavor and alcohol. We would definitely come here again!
If you are visiting San Diego, I’d recommend this place for sure.
Our table just happened to be surrounded by some big, loud parties. We tried to make it work for a bit, but it was tough to have a real conversation for a one-on-one Valentine’s dinner. Not the restaurant’s fault at all, just the situation.
I eventually went up and talked to an extremely sweet staff member named Logan to see if anything might be available, even though we had already ordered. No dice, so I sat down. Then within a couple minutes they came over and offered us a quieter table, which was really thoughtful.
That completely changed the night. The Valentine’s setup was beautiful and we were able to actually relax and enjoy dinner. Huge thanks to Logan and the staff for going the extra mile and taking great care of us.
We had dinner plans elsewhere, so we just came in for appetizers, but the food was solid. The Chips and Dips were fantastic (the dips were super tasty), and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts were cooked perfectly–nicely crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The service was good, too. Just a heads up: You definitely need a reservation. It’s in a trendy part of University Heights and gets packed fast. Highly recommend for the vibes!
From the Brunch menu, we had the Chilaquiles, Loco Moco and Croissant breakfast sandwich. The Mexican Hot Chocolate with cookies and the Sugar Plum Spitzer were all delicious!!
We will definitely be going back! Thank you, Grant, for taking such great care of us!
I ordered salmon and garlic bread. By far the best salmon ever I wish I had a bigger stomach to fit the whole thing. Also had something off their nonalcoholic menu, which was amazing.
Definitely coming back and if your local San Diego again, definitely worth checking out
