I recently visited Moon Thai & Japanese Restaurant, and the experience was honestly impressive from start to finish.
To start, I ordered the Aventura Roll, and the presentation immediately stood out. The sushi was beautifully plated with a generous drizzle of sauce and topped with sesame seeds, giving it both a visually appealing and flavorful finish. Each bite had a great balance of texture—fresh sushi rice, rich sauce, and perfectly prepared toppings that complemented each other really well.
I also tried the Moon Thai Chicken Wings, which were another highlight. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, coated in a savory glaze that had just the right mix of sweet and savory. The plating was simple but elegant, with shredded carrots and fresh herbs that added a nice touch to the overall presentation.
Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything arrived promptly. They checked in at the right times without being intrusive, which really added to the comfort of the dining experience.

I had ordered the Chicken Pad Thai from this place many times until today. I had to finish cooking the dish at home because it didn’t come with egg, scallions and peanuts and the sauce was bland. Sad to see another place charging top dollar for low quality half cooked food.

Hostesses were great. Food is phenomenal. Service was excellent. They now have LARGE TVs.. Wanna watch sports and enjoy your food. This is it! Thank you all.

I was a loyal customer since they opened many years ago. A couple of months ago the food portions including the sauces have deteriorated. The tuna taro went from 4 to 3 with hardly any tins or chips. The Wellington dragon roll on the menu comes with sauce. However now you have to purchase the sauces and they have gone from a full container to a quarter. These sauces cost $1.00 each. I come to learn it’s that way because of new management. After I saw the sauces and food on a rake out order .. I went back and a manager wasn’t even working only 4 employees to greet me at the counter at which told me they were not happy with the new management and food they were told to serve. Maybe they need to cut back on the greeters and go back to taking care of their customers with good food quality .. that’s where you are loosing money. Over staffed. You have definitely lost a loyal customer.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Moon Thai and Japanese. Our server, Jenny, was warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening.
A special highlight of the night was the personal touch from Oil, the sushi chef. He brought the sashimi flounder special to our table for us to try and took the time to talk about the dish with us. It was such a unique and memorable experience to hear directly from the chef himself, it really made the evening feel special.
The food itself was absolutely wonderful. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back soon!

The food here used to be great, but I just ordered two sides of sushi rice and paid $3 for each of these containers. The rice is disgusting. it is mushy uneditable and a complete waste of my $6. I would have preferred to have gone to a flea market sushi place at this point. Also paid $6 for the smallest amount of seaweed salad that was mediocre for seaweed salad. Will not be returning and they’ve lost a customer that has been around for over 10 years.

Great food with awesome service. Atmosphere is super chill and food is amazing. Rolls are delicious and portions are big! The sushi combos are a great value with a soup or salad and a teriyaki chicken or tempura veggie and shrimp. I suggest getting a small white rice for that chicken!
