I usually don’t enjoy ramen because it often doesn’t feel flavorful enough for me, but this place completely changed my mind. The broth was incredibly creamy and packed with flavor, and the spice had an amazing punch. I chose level 7 (I normally eat spicy food), and it was perfect.

The hash browns and mushrooms were such a great addition and added amazing texture. I also loved the noodles — I chose the thick, firm option, and they were just right. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience.

There’s almost always a line at Ramen Nagi in Westfield Valley Fair, but it truly is worth the wait! The ramen is delicious, comforting, and great value for the quality you get. Portions are generous, the noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the broth is rich with layers of flavor that deepen as you eat. Plus, after your meal, you can stroll around the beautiful mall—there’s plenty to explore while you digest.

We tried both the Red King and Black King ramen, and they each have very distinct personalities.
• Black King: This is the boldest of the bunch, featuring a dramatic jet-black broth made with squid ink, blackened garlic, and a tonkotsu base. The result is deeply savory, full of umami, and surprisingly complex without being overwhelming.
• Red King: Despite its fiery appearance, it’s not as spicy as it looks. The heat is balanced, and the broth blends garlic, chili oil, cayenne, and savory notes that make it flavorful rather than just hot.

The Karaage Fried Chicken was also excellent—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with seasoning that complements the ramen really well.

They also serve a complimentary side of black pepper bean sprouts, which is a nice touch and gives you something tasty to snack on while waiting for the main dishes.

Overall, a great spot for ramen lovers and absolutely worth a visit!

Ramen Nagi at Valley Fair is honestly worth the hype in terms of taste and quality, but the weekend wait is brutal. I waited about 1 hour outside in line, and that part wasn’t worth it for me.

They do handle the line well though. Someone came out with the order sheet and explained options. I got Veggie King and they told me it comes with a hash brown, plus you can substitute things like mushroom/spinach with whatever you want.

We added cabbage, white rice, and garlic onions on the side.

The ramen itself was tasty and spicy. I chose 9/10 spice and it was delicious, not gonna lie. Portion was filling, I was full by the end.

Inside is cramped, but service is fast. Overall great ramen, just avoid weekends unless you enjoy waiting in long lines. Weekdays would be the move.

This is one of the iconic ramen places in Bay area and I wanted to give it a try…waited in queue for about an hour to get in on a weekday for lunch…was already super hungry by then.

We had vegan and the spicy ramen. One of the best broths and the spice level is kickass.
Loved the texture of noodles and the richness of broth. The complimentary bean sprouts are tasty and be sure to order edamame too.

Simple menu, full stomach!

New year eve lunch: Got lucky with <30 min wait time

1. Ordered Veggie King Ramen, it was really good. Our selection: Choice of veggies were spinach and spring onions, potato and egg, with no spice, no mushroom, thick noodle(normal). The ramen soup was so good, I added spices from the option later, which made even amazing, the hashed potatoes are perfect combo, as it’s soupy and crunchy as well.

2. Pro-tip(s):
If you’re sharing an entree, don’t pick the bar seats as you’d face a wall with little to no space at this location, wait few additional minutes.

Share an entree if you’re not too hungry, the mall has a lot of dessert places.

Overrated on all accounts. Because of the long line, the service was rushed and they almost rushed us to finish faster. The ramen was not creamy and delicious but rather too fatty. It was bland and not tasty at all. The noodles were uncooked. The chicken karaage was fine but not memorable. The whole experience was just okay and as expected “mall food”, and the meal was mediocre. I’ve had better ramen in South Bay.

Absolutely loved my visit to Ramen Nagi in Valley Fair! ✨ The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — the broth was creamy, the noodles had just the right texture, and the toppings were fresh. I tried the Veggie King. You can also customize your ramen and the spice level, which makes it even better! The only con is the wait time is really high.

This is fairly close to traditional Ramen shops in Japan. Where there are only 4-8 seats. Slurp down hot Ramen noodles fresh made with only 5 styles, yoga tea or a beer. I was so hungry and ready for it. I missed taking a picture. Huge lines always here, so be ready. Just enough to fill your tummy. Don’t expect big portions.

I have a severe garlic allergy. When ordering, I clearly selected “no garlic.” After I started eating, I realized the food still contained noticeable pieces/flavor of garlic. I stopped immediately and informed the server right away. The server said they couldn’t resolve it and would inform the manager.

When I was checking out, the manager asked how the meal was. I explained what happened. Instead of apologizing or taking this seriously, the manager replied that I should have told them at the beginning—which makes no sense because I did choose “no garlic,” and you don’t always detect garlic until you take a few bites. With a serious allergy, this is not a small mistake; it’s a health and safety issue.

No apology, no accountability—just blaming the customer for the restaurant’s error. If you have food allergies, be extremely careful here. I won’t be returning.

Found plastic in our ramen. Staff barely reacted—just a lazy “sorry.”
No replacement. No refund. No concern.

If they don’t care about food safety, they don’t deserve your business.
Never coming back. Eat at your own risk.
