We really enjoyed this spot. It has a very welcoming vibe, and the servers were very friendly. They also offered us a few samples to try before we ordered our actual plates. Everything was delicious. We would definitely come back, but of course, it’s not a place we can visit every week.

This is truly one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. Not only were the crab cakes the best Ive ever had, but the staff was so friendly, efficient, kind, and informative. Jerry himself came over to chat with us and you can tell he really cares that each and every customer has a great experience at his restaurant. Also, the place is impeccably clean and nicely decorated with hundreds of customers’ caricature portraits on every wall from floor to ceiling. I’ll definitely go back as soon as I can. I recommend the crab cake and haddock combo meal. Super generous portions and a wide variety of side dishes. You just can’t go wrong at this restaurant.

We were about to sit in but had some chores to go do. So we did take out. The owner and staff were super friendly. The crab cakes and chicken sandwich was delicious. The fries were exquisite and buttery. The sauces complemented the entrees so well. We can’t wait to come back and order more in the future! ❤️

Super disappointing in the cream of crab soup. It’s yellow like it has turmeric in it and tastes like curry. It’s not good at all. It’s far from authentic which really surprised me. The crab dip was good but not great. It was nice how big the portion was. But overall I’d just go to boomerangs next time for both.

Such an amazing small place! Jerry was outside waiting to greet us. When we were sat we were given 2 of the best selling side dishes to try sweet tomatoes and bbq kale they were both great. We ordered the oyster cabenero which were delicious as were the cocktails. Our dinner was also great just forgot to take pictures. This is definitely a great place to try. We will be back!

Jerry’s is great – both the restaurant and the man himself, who came over to say hello and check on the new haddock dish they were trying which they gave to us as a complimentary bite starter. The service was fantastic; we were constantly cared for and even small touches (like splitting a crab soup for two even though it is not meant for splitting) happened hassle free. Even when there was a mixup – I got a baked regular potato instead of the sweet potato I had asked for – it was noticed by the server before I brought it up and they gave me my correct side while letting me keep the tasty mixup! The portions were on the generous side of decent, the prices reasonable for the sheer amount of crab we consumed, and the mint chocolate on the way out the perfect capstone. Would recommend!

Every MD town has a restaurant claiming “best crab cakes.” But only Jerry’s is that Place. And that’s not all — they also have the best fried oysters (perfectly done), the best half-shell oysters (clean-tasting, plump), and the best softshells (fresh, juicy, perfect). If that weren’t enough, their sides are great as well, especially the sweet, buttery stewed tomatoes.
While everything is wonderful, the crab cakes wear the crown. My picky-eater kids went from avoiding seafood to loving crab, all starting with a single bite of a Jerry’s crab cake. This makes my visits more expensive than when they ordered chicken tenders (perfectly fried strips of real chicken, not shaped chicken-bits). But great food is not cheap, and unlike fancy places where you’re paying for location and food, at Jerry’s your just get THE BEST food money can buy. We plan multiple daytrips each year around visiting Jerry’s, which is over an hour away from us. It’s well worth the trip.

The best hidden place in a small community. It’s served the food for long time. What a wonderful food, local and in season. Best seafood, soft-shell crab and hardshell blue crab, fish. If you like crab-cakes, there are no other ones that can much the flavours and the true load of crab-meat than the ones at Jerry’s . Make the drive, will not regret it!!

Absolutely exceptional. Food was amazing, service was impeccable. They gave us free bread and even haddock bites as a starter, as you sit down. After ordering, they even let us sample the soups to understand what they were like, best cream of crab I’ve ever had(it’s curry based). Looking back, I don’t remember a single moment where we had to wait for food, it was just one amazing bite after the other until we journeyed into a food coma. Absolutely recommend Jerry’s Place to anyone in the area, you won’t regret it.
