After a long two-day wrestling tournament, Freddy’s in Sedalia was exactly what we needed before heading home. Hot, comforting food, quick service, and a relaxed place to finally take a breath after a busy weekend.
The burgers and fries hit the spot, and the frozen custard was the perfect finish—simple, classic comfort food done right. It’s one of those dependable stops you’re grateful for when you’re tired, hungry, and just want something familiar and satisfying.
Great experience overall and a solid go-to when you’re in town for tournaments or events. We’ll definitely stop again next time we’re in Sedalia.

Went here against my better judgement because my kid wanted to go. The person taking my order was rude and didn’t seem to understand that I didn’t want two slices of cheese. Once I explained I only wanted one, she went cold on my and was very rude the rest of the order. The custard was great. The burger was dry, disappointing, luke warm, and gross. It fell apart as I attempted to eat it. My daughter who lives burgers threw hers away. $25 for trash food served by a person with a crap attitude. I acknowledge that I too, have a bad attitude in this review. I was just epically disappointed and will never eat at Freddy’s again. Macdonald’s is better than this place, and I don’t like Macdonald’s either. Culvers or Shake Shack are the gold standard for fast food burgers.

Culvers is cheaper, friendlier, and better overall. I got an over priced burger that they still messed up with rude service all around, it doesn’t matter who you talk to. If you are reading this, Do not go here.

Update after a couple years since first time.
Loved it. It was $27 for two people to eat and share a concrete. Loved the double burger, hand smashed on the griddle, thin and crispy, larger than the bun. The toppings seemed fresh, even saw a woman in the back hand cleaning and slicing onions. Which means even though it’s a large franchise they still care about quality.
The fries were thin and crispy. For .75 added cheese, and they were soaked. Not sure if worth the cost, but delicious.
The concrete was good, but not great. We got the cold brew caramel crunch, bui there wasn’t really a coffee flavor.
Overall I’m impressed with this place.

I have visited this Freddy’s location several times now.
Good location with a drive-thru. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well.
I always find that there is very friendly staff and quick service!
Highly recommend the fries with the Freddy’s fry sauce. Their cheese curds are very good too.
The pumpkin pie custard was very good during a fall visit.
On my latest visit I had a burger with fries and the birthday cake shake. The burger was decent. Love the fries with the Freddy’s fry sauce and the birthday cake shake was quite good too!

It was only okay in my opinion. The burgers are
super thin and loaded with mustard onions and pickles. I guess that’s the norm which if I’d known that I would have ordered mine plain. No one asked. Nice clean place and friendly staff.

The best food, but unfortunately the worst service in sedalia it would be my first choice if not for how rude the employees are. It DOES NOT matter what time of day you go. They are awful.

Felt more like the teens working were there for social hour. Girl taking orders was chewing on the front of her shirt.
Kitchen food was good and fresh, but never received the apple juice with the kids meal.
Custard was soupy and when I took it back to the front counter to ask for something else, the girl rolled her eyes and one handed, lazily made a replacement. No customer service.
