The hamburgers were so tasty and yummy. I lived that there is a Gluten-free bun option and other upgrades to your sides. Like onion rings and sweet potatoes fries vs reg fries. They offer bottom less drinks and also a diverse menu from salads to ta os as well. 5 min wait came during lunch hour on a Thrusday so not bad at all.

Visited Island Burger after a long time. Their veggie patty burger was good, but not quite as expected — it wasn’t well done (probably should have mentioned it). We loved their nachos, though! The burger could have been a little better.

Just ordered a shorebird chicken sandwich from Islands. I have ordered this sandwich many times and the chicken was always 100 percent normal chicken breast. Today the sandwich had a weird, rubbery flattened sort of chicken breast looking meat. It was strange and completely unappealing. Not sure why the restaurant made the change to this strange meat substance, but I will definitely not be eating there again. Very weird and sad because I always liked Islands.

I’ve been going to this particular location for more than 20 years. It’s still good, but about a third as good as it once was. Prices up, quality down, just like everything else – I’d still choose Islands over any competing restaurant.
